Almost perfect!
Really nice new hotel with lovely beds and showers. We extended our stay here and made day trips to Osaka and Nara. Only feedback is to increase the choice of hot food and fruit for vegetarians at breakfast.

Love The B Kyoto Shijo!
Great location, easy access to a few stations. Shower was the hightlight of this hotel room. Big enough for 2 people. I would love to come back and stay at The B Kyoto Shijo next time i visit Kyoto. Only con is that they charge a property tax of $200 yen per person, per night upon check in.

The hotel is lovely, the only issue we had with it was the area. It's not really near anything but it is on a main road with regular buses going in every direction that will take you wherever you need to go - the bamboo forest, kinkakuji, city centre shopping. Everything seemed to be at least 15-20 minutes walk away minimum. However, the hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly, there was complimentary tea and coffee in reception, the room was a good size and quiet (considering the main road outside)

Great Hotel !
Great Hotel ! New with lots of amenities. The shower is amazing, the room comfortable. Very accesible area to main attractions. Love this hotel, so far the best that we stayed at in Japan. Great breakfast !
