Such a lovely stay!
The staff were really friendly, the rooms were beautiful and the cleanliness was exceptional. What a lovely stay after no weekends or trips away all year! The only fault was our headboard being a bit creaky in room 1 but otherwise, perfect stay.

The room was small & over the main door, so could be noisey at night. The bed was small & not that comfortable. However, the room was clean, as was the bathroom

Beautiful hotel
This is a stunning conversion of an ancient priory. All the modern touches compliment the historic building. The hotel is in the centre of the village which has many pubs and restaurants plus roman history galore. The garden area of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and is the perfect place to relax with a meal or a drink. Our room was small but still comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great free car park with ample room for all.

Courtney was excellent and a true asset to The Priory as her service was professional and she had gone for the extra mile and exceed what we expected when we booked to stay at The Priory, and the staff and the manager in the restaurant was wonderful too and the breakfast was too pleasant. The decor of the room is excellent, *go for the deluxe room with the roll top bath, it’s worth it!* we love it, however the bedding was a bit of let down, it would be brilliant if it’s a feather bedding instead of hollow fibre and the mattress wasn’t comfortable as I could feel the springs when lying down. But that could be our ‘personal preference’ We will return again for sure!

5star from start to finish spotlessly clean fabulous food lovely accommodation attentive staff Covid rules followed to the letter as unobtrusively as is possible.Beautifully kept garden .

Excellent restaurant/service and stylish comfortable rooms in a beautiful peaceful location. This was a test stay as moving to a car that requires a charging point but this will hopefully become my new favourite for monthly Cardiff trip!!

The gentleman at the reception was so so lovely but the bedroom wasn’t what we expected, the bathroom door didn’t lock, the cold two didn’t work the bed side tablet is very very dangerous as I banned my head now have a lump, the shower was to small, couldn’t fit myself in, the floor was level, there was no spoon no glasses for the cups for the tea. Wasn’t the room that we choose it looked A lot smaller than we thought
