Hotel Barcelona Catedral

It was close to everything. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable

Where do I start? After about an hour and a half in traffic to get to our hotel. We walked down the hallway and went inside. Immediately we were greeted by the host of the hotel. Very friendly. We had an issue before arriving with the number of people staying in the hotel. They were able to accommodate us immediately. This hotel has an old time feel and look but very comfortable. They have breakfast for about 10 euros a person. And the place is very nicely taken care of. We were very pleased with this. Location wise it is right in the middle of downtown. Our family loves walking around so this place was about 20-30 minute walk for the Eiffel tower, 15 minute walk to museum Luvre. Surrounded by restaurants and bars. If I ever go back to Paris I will definitely book here again. Thank you guys very much! Also say hello to the house cat. 😊

Location is perfect and service cannot be faulted. Room was very small however but that is somewhat typical of Barcelona hotels in the cathedral and Gothic quarters area.

The location cannot be beat! It is clean and the staff is really helpful. Although we only made it once, the evening drink was a nice touch. One bizarre thing; you get only one small bottle of water per stay. This is such a small expense to the hotel but a huge convenience for the guest. I hated having to go out and lug water back to the room. Breakfast we really great!

The new clean rooms and convenient central location in the Gothic Quarter were offset by street noise in the exterior rooms and bar/dining noise of the courtyard in interior rooms. Light sleepers won’t like the loud drunken people, garbage collection and delivery trucks well after midnight. Staff kindly moved my room to the interior where the music and talking from the bar floated up until late evening. Unfortunate. With the windows closed the interior courtyard rooms were less noisy.

Good hotel that was very close to the cathedral. Easy to walk to a lot of attractions in the gothic part of the town.

Loved not only the location but how nice the whole property & staff were. The hotel smelled wonderful every time we walked in from outside. The breakfast in the mornings was excellent. Would recommend it to all & stay there again.

This boutique contemporary hotel was right across the square from Barcelona Cathedral in the Gothic quarter. Amazing staff (shout out especially to Mark, who was muy simpatico!). Our smallish room was 2nd floor and quiet with a large bathroom, comfy bed. all the amenities. Location was great, not far from Las Ramblas and 10 minute walk from Placa de Catalunya. Street entertainers fun to watch in the cathedral square, but no noise in the room from the action. Good tapas place right around the corner, a great Vietnamese restaurant right behind the hotel, and best of all, a Chocolate Box right next door (churros and chocolate, pastries, coffee, etc.). Good selection at hotel restaurant for breakfast. We didnt use the rooftop pool due to the season, but it looked like a quiet oasis. Highly recommend this hotel and its excellent staff.
