Great stay! Great location. Friendly staff.
This is a lovely small hotel - I would give 15/10. This is not for a business stay - totally leisure and vacation. Central location, excellent bathroom and friendly staff.
The room was extremely small, the King bed fitted miraculously in there. The bathroom was so small too, and the door was not working properly, it was very difficult to open it and close it. The only good thing was that it was conveniently close to the beach, there’s a store right in front of the hotel and also nice restaurants near by.
Loved the small boutique hotel, location on Washington is more quiet than Collins which can be a great thing if you are looking to sleep!! Great location, about a half mile walk down to Lincoln road which has great shopping and more restaurants. If you decide to bring a car, there is a parking lot 2 blocks away that charges $20 a day, but you can’t leave and come back or it will charge you...so just plan on ubering or taking a Lyft and don’t worry about parking...there is no free parking anywhere and you can’t park near the neighborhoods because you have to have a residential parking sticker!
No parking provide by hotel, front guest not to helpful, breakfast only coffe,oj and pantries. Even though I requested to pay at the hotel they took the money right away, deposit right away and it takes up to 5 days to come back to me. Mirrow in the bathroom was broken. Tv didn't work. Price kind of right, but is only a bed,and nice shower.
Great customer service, excellent check in, great rooms, complimentary breakfast and chair rental
+quiet well kept & the shower They will hold your luggage pre check in. At checkin the hostess claimed that our room was upgraded from a King to a Double. For a married couple this is NO upgrade, they called us later for our King room. The closet had ample shelves, safe, iron/board, blow dryer, cable TV. There is NO pool on premise. 10 minutes walk to the beach. At the beach two lounge chairs but NO umbrellas. Those are $20 extra. They also offer Cabanas for additional charges. A bed is $100. Towels are by a sign up. - WE LOST POWER overnight. There was no mention of it or accommodations for it. There is no coffee in the room and though we went to the mini restaurant they never had the keurig working. The breakfast was mini muffins, mini pastry, and croissant. If there was anything beyond that we didn’t bother as the seating was very crowded without social distancing. The kitchen/nite staff rarely had the mask on. Kitchen staff spent most of the time outside at the patio tables. The evening concierge was on her personal phone and with a boyfriend. I recommend traveling down to a coffee/juice bar next to the restaurant Bolivar for delicious generous portions. There is also the Havana 1957 restaurant on Espanola or the beach was the best. Bolivar has Wednesday Bachata/Salsa classes, & comedy. Mega Pizza =LARGE slices! We don’t recommend walking around at night. Many places closed due to COVID! NO SHUTTLE SERVICE. ($20 Lyft)
The hotel was nicely renovated. The only thing I didn’t like was that my room was next to the post office. I stayed there for four nights and every morning at 1 a.m., and 4 a.m., there was a lot of loud yelling and slamming of doors and mail. But other than that, I loved my stay. The bed had a light in the head board. And since I was at the end of the hall, I had two beautiful big windows.
Overall my stay was nice. Super close to Collins & Ocean Drive. Staff was nice and helpful. Just hard to track down sometimes because it wasn’t a ton of staff. We did lose power for a few but it was a issue on the block. So nothing the hotel could do.
Highly recommend this hotel
