Very enjoyable stay.
Great location and lovely pub below with great food. We stayed in the Memorial Suite. Shower switched between being Extremely hot to extremely cold every 10 seconds or so making it uncomfortable to shower in. That was the only negative In what was a very enjoyable stay.

Clean rooms
Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough. Check in was a bit of a ball ache as there was no one there to check us in when we arrived even though we arrived within the time suggested. Ate in the pub although a limited menu it was tasty. Room was clean although a little hot couldn’t work out how to turn the radiator down.

Excellent value. Clean spacious room. Reasonable shower. Friendly staff, great location. It isn’t the Ritz but it doesn’t pretend to be and isn’t priced as such. Just a short taxi ride into city centre, plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby

Nice location, friendly staff. The pub is great! I would truely recommend for others this place for a short or even longer stay. It is a bit far from the city centre, but easy to get it even to walk there. About 30 - 40 minutes on foot. The room was clean and tidy. Many thanks!

Great place to stay, close to the hospital
I stayed for one night with my son, who was having an operation at southmead hospital the next day. On arrival the staff were very welcoming. Our room was comfortable and clean. Twin beds, tea/coffee making facilities and a television. We had an evening meal at the crafty cow, and i must say the food was excellent, also a 10% discount on the food as we were using a room. Throughout our visit staff were friendly, helpful and informative. I will be using the crafty cow again.

The bar staff were really helpful and friendly. The room and the bed were a generous size. The shower was either boiling or cold, like an Eddie Izzard sketch.
