Showboat Hotel

Overall I say that the stay was good However there are small problems when we got to the room it was freezing air conditioning system wasn't working The heater is supposed to dry you off in the bathroom was lacking you might as well cut on a light bulb and stand underneath it but let me also say that maintenance came right away and fixed the air-conditioning unit couldn't do much for the heater in the bathroom the lighting is a little dim the door had a 1-inch crack from the floor you could probably stick a deck of cards underneath the door the ice machine didn't work there are no microwaves available base claimed due to covid Outlets with minimal if you have a lot of electronics cell phones Etc bring a power strip on little battery charger cuz you're going to need it With the television you didn't know what channel you were on it didn't have an indicator on it no guide if you did try to put the channel in manual need a remote didn't work you can turn to channels and also have volume but after that you're on your own lastly even though it's primarily hotels.com as far as I'm concerned is at fault even though it's a little thing it's an important thing when they told you all taxes and titles are paid or fees not true you still have to pay a resort fee so always check with the hotel or place that you're going to stay to make sure for that little thing but it is important also you know you get the $100 or whatever it is $50 a day Insurance in case you use anything but there's nothing to use at that hotel also one more thing there is no Casino I just thought you'd like to know the staff was amazing

We did not have Heat in our room and it was freezing, we ended up leaving early.

No heat no hot water. They knew this before assigning this room as they stated the wild building was having heating issues. They changed us to another room that was a double instead of a king. But it was also a connected room. It was a major downgrade. It was definitely not worth what i paid

The room had no heat the hotel had barely any amenities There are lightbulbs out in the room there is mold in the bathroom

Upon check in social distancing was in place. Lobby was empty, checked into our room, there was no indication that they did a thorough cleaning, the furniture was old, carpet was dirty. You can here your next door neighbors as if they are in your room. It was a no-smoking floor and people were smoking There was only one burger joint on premises. No room service. This hotel needs to be remodeled. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there

Charise was amazing upon check-in!

Very good hotel very comfortable

It was ok. The hotel is very quiet older hotel. No casino. The hotel is clean and employees were friendly. We had to pay for parking outside, $20.00 We found was a little excessive for the hotel.
