Hotel Floridiana Terme

Here's my story. I'm a travel writer. I stayed at two luxury termes before Floridiana, then I couldn't leave beautiful Ischia so I booked this hotel based on reviews, locations and pics. A total winner. They upgraded me to a duplex suite, the grounds are very pretty, the variety of pools is excellent, and it's close to cafes and the lovely, swimmable beach. It will be my go-to in Ischia from now on.

It was a wonderful stay in Floridiana, with 3 basins, free parking, very good service. We even received the late check -out, which was very nice because our ferry departed at 16.45 to Naples. The dinner was very tasty! The location is in the center of pedestrian zone, very close to the sea coast.

Everything was fine. The rooms are big, the pool well managed and the breakfast was Exellent. The hotel is located near restaurants and boutiques. 😊

Very nice place close to port and to shopping and restaurants

Nice room. Three different thermal pools and right in the heart of shopping and restaurants. Relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was clean and well prepared.

Hotel is in a perfect location, not far from the ferry port and within easy walking distance for the beach and numerous bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Hotel offers great facilities including the three thermal pools, hydro shower, indoor hydro pool, beauty treatments (not used) and gym (not used). Wonderful staff, very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

We just returned from a lovely stay in Ischia and had an enjoyable time staying at Floridiana Therme. The hotel is conveniently located a 10-15 minute walk from Ischia Port and near shops and restaurants, but in an ideal spot set back from the main street and avoiding street noise. The staff was very helpful and spoke enough English to converse with us. Good continental breakfast on terrace. The common areas are nice and the 3 pools lovely including a smaller pool with spa-like amenities. However, pool towels are 8E/person to use during your stay, which isn't advertised and shocked us at checkout. We also paid for towels at Negombo and if we had known we had to pay a rental at the hotel would have just bought them. The rooms are freshly painted and clean, but the furniture is a bit worn. The bed was hard and could use an updated mattress. The TV was small and we didn't use it. The closets were nice and roomy. The AC worked great. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. On the other hand, the bathroom wasn't great and the shower minuscule. I'm not a large person at 5'4/120lb and barely fit; my 6'1 husband really struggled. Other small negatives were that the wifi was really outdated (had to login everytime unlocked phone) and very slow--usually I don't care on vacation but needed to look up restaurants etc; also, there was a bit of hall noise and they woke us up around 9:30 to clean. Otherwise great stay! Tip: ask for restaurant recs-they do a great job!

Staff were wonderful. Pool was the best I've ever used. Plenty of sunbeds available but not crowded. The room was of a good size with terrace. The hotel is near to restaurants, the castle, the harbour. Fantastic place to go to get rid of stress without going to the middle of nowhere.
