Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Asheville Westgate, NC

This was a disappointing stay. Check-in is at 3:00. We arrived at 2:00 and were told our room wasn’t ready. We had tickets to the Biltmore for 2:30 and we were hoping to check in prior to that. Note: I had called ahead a few days prior and was told that It would be ok to check in at 2:00 and that our room should be ready by then. My husband dropped us off at the Biltmore and went back to check in at 3:00. He was told the room wasn’t ready. He checked again around 3:15 and nothing. They told him it would be another ‘10 minutes’. The room wasn’t ready til past 4:00. The manager offered $25.00 off the price for the inconvenience. When I checked out, nothing had been credited. My number was left so the manager could call me. It’s been 3 days and I haven’t heard back from anyone. My husband didn’t arrive to the Biltmore until 5:00 at which point the shops were closed.

The staff was phenomenal and the facility was great. It was such a great pet friendly hotel they had a bunch. Fortunately we all shared the space well and I never saw anyone walking in the out lying area. That was my only issue. I had limited space to walk my dog, but that wasn't the hotel's problem. It was just an awkward space to have a hotel.

Very disappointed in this place. Not sure where the good reviews are coming from unless pet owners. Parking was awful. Room looked nothing like the pics. Room smelled like dog. Dogs barking in room next to me. Dogs in the hallway. Front desk had better things to do like filling the cookie display before checking me in. I took the non-refundable hit and went to a nearby Hampton were I had an awesome experience.

Started out rocky with a slow check-in and lax mask wearing by staff, but the hotel responded immediately and the rest of our stay was quite pleasant. Very quiet and comfortable -- well situated for seeing Asheville. Would likely stay here again.

Great location and price!! 5 -10 minutes from downtown, Biltmore, etc.

The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. The staff was attentive, friendly and very helpful.

When we checked in there was a water main that burst near the main entrance. I asked if this would be an issue and they said no. Turns out it was a HUGE issue! We had no water to the entire hotel all night and the next day. Our room was right next to the water main area and the county was sawing and running sump pumps and loud equipment all night. Also flashing their vehicle lights in our window. My daughter has photo sensitive seizures and this was an issue! Even closing the heavy curtains did nothing. They were offering refunds for anyone checking in. But when I asked for a refund the next morning due to loud noise (we all did not get any sleep; again, major issue for my epileptic daughter) they only gave me $50 off for my dog. Ridiculous!! We had to travel 9 hours by car the next day without taking showers, flushing the toilet, or having running water to brush teeth. I will be contacting corporate for a refund of this expensive, disastrous stay. And on top of all this, it was my husband’s birthday.. so dissatisfied.

Was a good trip overall until a city pipe bursted and we were without water for about a day. The front desk did everything they could to give bottle waters and what not. However having two dogs and not having a flushable toilet for a day kind of sucked.

It was very clean, quiet and well maintained. The staff was so great and helpful.
