Nice boutique hotel and the staff was friendly. Would recommend.

Great location, good size room

The initial room that I booked which appeared in the pictures to be quite spacious, was actually tiny! We had to upgrade 2 levels above our room type to have enough space for our luggage. For the price of the initial room type I would have expected a lot more when comparing to other hotels over the course of our trip. We upgraded and overall the room was lovely, quiet and clean.

If your looking for a chic, contemporary, quiet boutique hotel in Paris, look no further then La Villa Haussmann. We enjoyed out stay very much last week. 3 nights in Paris is never enough but the onsite breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There is no concierge on site but the help staff made up for it.

We ended up upgrading to a deluxe room given the small Size of most rooms in Europe. However, the view of our room was NOTHING like the pictures shown on the hotels website. Our view was of an ugly run down building. Customer service was less than nice upon arrival. The bar and restaurant were just ok. Overall, our stay there was comfortable but we wouldn’t stay there again given the location was ok. We were expecting a nicer area full of cafes and bistros. You must walk 10-15 minutes to get to a nicer area. I uploaded a picture of our direct view from bathroom and room and a second one down the street.

We had a deluxe room right at the end of the building, a bit of an odd shape but it worked well for us, it was extremely quiet, clean and the bed gave us both the soundest night's sleep we've had in a while and there is plenty of choice on pillows. Coffee pods always replenished and you can always ask for more without issue. One negative comment I'll make is regarding room service, we ordered a club sandwich late one night and it was very disappointing, we did highlight this to the staff but heard nothing more. The view right down Boulevard Haussman was superb and of course being an older style building in Paris the windows opened from ceiling to floor, our only regret on this is we didn't have a balcony! The location in the 8th arrondisment is great to get to all the main tourist sights and access to various Metro lines was well within a 10 minute walking distance. It's a small but really lovely hotel and yes I'd recommend it, if we were to go back to Paris for a weekend again I'd most definitely stay there.
