The facility is really good condition. It's just outside the central and marina area. It's very easy to get to on the local bus. The bus will pick you up across the street and drop you off right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is good. We would stay again.

Overall it was ok .. you have to watch your room charges because they try and add up extra charges to your room for service or food .. check your bill and make sure you have plenty of time in the morning to go over it .. like sn hour .

Fabulous Place Service and Price
We recently booked City Express as a last minute booking based on the fact that it was inexpensive, available and newly built. We would rather be in a new building that was less lux than a tired old operation that is more upscale. City Express is very similar to a Holiday Inn Express in than it is purpose built for professional travelers that want everything to work and don't care so much about the location by the beach etc. That said it is within easy view of the $400 a night Riu Palace on the beach and is a short five-minute ride from downtown Carbo. I cannot stress too strongly that this is a great [place to stay for the money and if you add a car rental to it you will be less than ten minutes from the best beaches ever. We paid $175 for a week with a VW Vento and came and went at will from the City. It's is odd to be driving by hords of Americans walking endlessly from expensive hotels because they are either afraid to drive to and from their hotels or can't afford to rent cars after being ripped off on their cabs and hotel rooms. It is easier to drive to and from the airport and around Carbo than the average American suburb or city. Our room looked right out to the arch and every morning we were greeted with a newly arriving cruise ship pulling it the harbor. WIFI was perfect and the breakfast was prepared by two women offering good coffee, frest cut up fruits and eggs with breads and coissants. The pool is great with BYO or food served.
