Westborough Inn

I stayed at Westborough Inn for a week, the room is comfortable, clean, and staff are friendly, it’s located in a quiet area and it’s close to stores and restaurants, the price is excellent!

This had to be the cleanest over-nite we ever had! Close to food services, quiet neighborhood.

I should have taken the bad reviews very seriously. Every negative review was the absolute truth. Buy your own blanket as i did if you chose to stay here. Its clear they dont change the sheets after people checkout. Bring your own cleaning supplies for the bathroom. The owners of this place have no concern for the Corona virus or their guests! To make matters even worse, i stayed there during a nor'Easter and when i told the man at the front desk that my lyft ride was ten minutes away and that i would need a 10 minute late checkout he attempted to charge me $20. This place was filthy along with the people who represent it. Consider your health first and the respect you deserve as a guest before you take a chance staying here. Absolutely not a place for children either, as a parent i would be terrified bringing children here. In five years of using this app to book hotels i have never left a negative review. This should speak volumes to those considering spending one night here.

Upon arrival there were noticeable long black hairs stuck on the sides of the shower and on the bathroom floor. The box spring was bare and visible, the mattress itself was zipped in several mattress covers, the fleece middle blanket had holes in it, and the sheets had a bunch of black lint balls on it. There was an old rocker with holes in the seat that I refused to touch because it looked so gross... The window was screwed shut and the heater blew cold air frequently. Trash bags/empty cases of beer were left in the stair halls by tenants daily (I was told I could do this as well). In my two week stay I never once saw staff wear a mask or even have one on their person ie around their neck or in their hand - (despite signs instructing visitors to do so). In terms of security/privacy, the front door and the entrance to the inner area where the rooms are located were left unlocked and propped open at all times as far as I could tell. Parking is around back between several 3 deckers with broken down cars, abandoned furniture, and piles of...just...well... stuff. I almost turned around before I even made it in the building. After leaving I was told I broke the freezer and that I would be charged a $25 to fix it (even though I did not use the freezer). Unfortunately, there wasn’t much of a conversation as the gentleman who called me spoke very labored English. Great cable, but the wifi kicked me off frequently enough that I had to resort to using my own hotspot.

Complimentary soap was opened in the bathroom, smelled like smoke, could hear everything happening in other rooms and in the lobby.

During pandemic think it would be super clean. It was not. And was supposed to be smoke free but I smelled cigarettes.

This place is the best. Easy access to things to do. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly people.

A lot of bite marks after staying there. Not sure what it was.

Nice old school family owned property. The staff was very nice and the location was perfect.
