Clean and comfortable
Nicely located, super clean and quiet. Just a little ways from the hustle and bustle of downtown and just a nice place to stay. Would choose this little gem again.

We stayed at the Cromwell Motel for 3 nights while in Bar Harbor. We were very impressed at how spotlessly CLEAN the whole place was!! It was immaculate, very comfortable and so overall nice!! I highly recommend anyone visiting Bar Harbor to stay here. It’s just beyond all the hustle & bustle but close enough to walk to it all. I will definitely be telling everyone I know about how great this place is... & I can’t wait to go back!! I’m hoping the current Covid pandemic is over by the time we go back... because the pool area looked so inviting!

Wonderful 3 night stay at this property. I had all the essentials I needed, including a microwave and refrigerator (they normally have a coffee maker, but was removed due to covid restrictions - so bring your own instant coffee and sugar/creamer. They provide coffee cups and plastic glasses. There was an extremely comfy king size bed with lots of big soft pillows, a big bathroom with hairdryer and tub/shower combo, and plenty of towels and soap, shampoo/conditioner were left - more than enough for my 3 nights there (since there is currently no daily housekeeping, again due to covid. There is even a closet, and iron/ironing board. The room was spotless and clean. There is an air conditioning and heater combo unit, which worked very well but was very loud at night as it automatically turned on and off to maintain the correct temperature. Joy, at the front desk was super friendly and nice, and made sure I felt comfortable to let her know if I needed anything at all. My room was on the second floor with a small balcony (there is no elevator so be sure to book a room on the ground level if stairs are an issue for you). The property is located on Main Street but at the very southern edge of Bar Harbor (which was perfect for me and very close to the all the points in Acadia National Park. I would definitely choose this property again if I came back to visit this amazing national park!

The Cromwell is a nice walk to the downtown area, far enough away from the crowds and noise. The room was much bigger than most hotels and so very CLEAN!

Clean and close enough to walk to town. They accommodated my teenage son with his own pull out couch so he didn’t have to share a bed with his sister. We will be back for our next trip to Acadia. The shower has a really nice water pressure that felt really good after a long day of hiking.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is in easy walking distance of the town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Would definitely stay here again.Due to a bad storm and time constraints we were unable to take full advantage of all that the area had to offer.
