Lovely hotel, once you can find it. Delightful reception and quick paperwork transaction. Nice room & good bathroom. Shower a bit tricky, but delightful once water starts running. Great food, lovely staff. Pleasant garden area in which to enjoy a drink.

Great stay. Staff could not have been more helpful. Wonderful location for Brockhole particularly and the Lakes in general.

We were looking for a wedding venue and so grabbed a discounted Friday night stay. The hotel has 23 rooms and#11 is of a good size with sofa and plenty of space. We're felt that the double bed was surprisingly small having come from a king at home, and the bedroom furniture could do with a lick of paint to touch up some knocks. The staff were friendly and chatty which ward a welcome surprise as I'm more used to larger hotels where the guest turnover means that the welcome is more functional. Dinner on Friday night was well presented and of a really good standard. I sent my compliments to the chef. We liked the hotel so much that we've booked our wedding there

What a lovely hotel this is. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is great, the hotel is spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. The grounds are immaculately kept, we couldn’t fault it. We will definitely be back.
