Kyriad La Rochelle Centre - Les Minimes

We have stayed here twice now and it’s been clean, quiet and comfortable both times. The internet access on the computers near reception was poor this time but reception staff were helpful. Hotel is nicely situated between La Rochelle centre and Les Minimes (a nice 1km stroll either way). Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, extremely comfortable bed in a large room. Town centre and the sights were only a 15 minute walk so was perfectly situated. Plenty to eat for breakfast and staff were very friendly.

A nice hotel. The room was a little bit small, but very clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The underground parking was very convenient. The hotel is located not far from the main tourist attractions and the town center. On the other hand, it took some time to find the hotel and even more time to exit the city from the hotel by car. Therefore, it is more convenient to the people who would like to stay at least two nights, and less convenient for the overnight stay.

Took the train into La Rochelle and this hotel is only approx 15 mins walk from the station and the port. Close to the marina, maritime museum and university too. Staff are very pleasant and speak very good English. Excellent continental breakfast for less than 10 euros. Rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped with everything you need for a short break. 24 hour residents bar. 100% recommend this hotel

We booked this hotel mainly because it stated that it offered a shuttle from the airport. We did have to point this out a few times via email when trying to arrange- but in the end staff kindly came and picked us up as stated. Room was fine - beds were clean and comfortable and a good breakfast was on offer. Two small niggles - the shower leaked quite badly, secondly on Expedia it stated that local taxes were included in the price we paid- the guy on the desk however, insisted that local taxes were never included (they have been in all other hotels where stated) even when shown the invoice we had paid. Only a small problem (it’s the principle not the cost) but it didn’t spoil our time in La Rochelle or the Kyriad.

Good and clean, just what I needed. A bit of a walk from the train station.

A good clean basic hotel which was in easy reach of the port and town centre.

Room very clean if a little small. Kettle very useful but unfortunately there was no airport shuttle bus despite one being advertised on the hotel Web site.
