Musik Boutique Hotel

We booked a trip to Barcelona for 9 days—a bit longer because we also visited Madrid during this time. I will NEVER EVER set foot in Barcelona ever again. My husband was robbed twice during our stay—once on the metro and the second time 25 feet away from the front the hotel which he was also assaulted—we were simply walking down the street minding our own business when this happened. It is in a somewhat sketchy area which we didn’t realize being our first time in Barcelona knowing what i know now, I wouldve never stayed in this hotel because of the area. We notified police about the robberies— we had to wait to notify them because the precint was closed for the day—what?!? So we waited until the next day & lost an entire day sitting at the police station waiting in a room FULL of others that were also robbed—The police in Barcelona are not easy to get a hold of and are not readily available & they dont do anything about the theft problem in this city. It is “minor” according to them. This is Disgusting!!! Yes the hotel is clean & updated, wifi is good, but there were a few annoying factors—no fan in the bathrooms so when u shower the steam lingers throughout the whole bathroom & bedroom—you have to open the window & wait to get all the steam out, & no phone to call the front desk—u have to use “whatsapp” from your cellphone to reach them or physically go down stairs to the reception area. I would not recommend staying @ this hotel for safety reasons

Excellent location. The Sant Pere district has a real neighbourhood feel with lots of local shops & cafes, and intriguing alleyways to explore. But also only ten minutes walk from Plaça Catalunya and also from the heart of Barri Gòtic. Very clean and friendly, with a really good breakfast buffet. Mineral water in the room every day. Comfy bed, very quiet location. Only two tiny niggles: a kettle in the room would be nice (but there is a 24-hour bar service in reception) and the one lift can be very slow at times. I’d stay there again.

This hotel was in the perfect location for exploring the Gothic area in Barcelona. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and fresh. Would definitely go back.

Right in the heart of Gothic Section - great location Needs to have more of a space for being able to sit and have a drink or socialize - designated area is too small and does not accommodate

I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Barcelona. The staff was absolutely phenomenal and helpful in everything from holding our bags until check in, checking us in ahead of schedule, printing boarding passes and general recommendations for food and sights. The manager Ennio went above and beyond to help us. The property itself is in a very safe neighborhood surrounded by lots of amazing shops, cafes and restaurants. Our room was clean and had a door that opened up to allow a nice breeze, and the beds were so comfortable! Overall it was just a fantastic stay and I was so happy to stay here while I was in Barcelona.
