Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lafayette East

This was a over night stay with my family. I rated it 4 out of 5. It was very clean and the room was comfortable. I also noted that it was very quite at night, maybe because the motel wasn't full or they didn't have anyone next to us. The breakfast was limited but good compared to other motels that just offer a grab and go breakfast bag. The staff was friendly and could answer most questions. I knocked it down one level because the checkin took so long, about 10min. I booked thru expedia and that slowed it down, then the computer was slow. One room key didn't program and had to be reprogramed after I tried it. The next morning neither key worked. But this was minor and over all was a good stay and I would return again.

It was a pleasant stay. The king bed room is very spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. What surprised me is the breakfast. During COVID-19, they still make effort to provide nice warm Burritos.

I was taking my daughter back to Collage and he stay for 3 days and we love everything about the hotel. Starting from safety during COVID-19 with require face masks, very clean, comfortable beds and great service.

The personal was really nice. The room was clean overall The bathroom had spots in the shower and the floor had loose tiles.

The good! The room itself was nice and clean. The beds and linens were very comfortable. They served a minimal breakfast but it was excepted during CVOID. The pool was closed, and the cleaning measures could have been better as housekeeping was apparently per request but was not told to me when checking in. The bad! The dresser drawers would not stay shut, and the bathroom door would not stay open... the hotel is off level. There was no bags in the trash cans, housekeeping NEVER came to clean our room, and now that I think about it I never seen a housekeeping aid in the halls like you usually would at a hotel in the mornings, I had to take the dirty towels to the front desk to exchange them for new towels. mind you I am 7 months pregnant and that was not ideal for a upscale hotel. I got a new set of towels but no wash rags were provided, and the real KICKER... my friends husband used the washer and dryer... FLORA the night shift attendant took it upon herself to remove his wet, drenching clothes from the dryer without permission and placed them in a black garbage bag with a note saying... Sorry for the inconvenience I had to help another guest.... the clothes were WET! When confronted, she was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Stating yes I did that, and what do you want me to do give you a dollar to finish drying them.... then proceeded to yell after we had walked away if we didn’t like it she would kick us out.. mind you this was at 1am, and we are pregnant and have 4 kids.

Everything is so clean and safe. I was nervous to travel during the pandemic but I needed stay over on an important trip across the country and this was the best place I could have chosen!

My room was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was outstanding! I was just passing thru town and will definitely stay here again.

No clean the rooms. I pay regular ni discounts money for no cleans it’s nesesary for. Irons virus

The staff was FANTASTIC! They were all so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable during this pandemic.
