Arrived the first night and the room was cold the heater was not working properly it was 12 degrees outside.All double rooms were booked so we stayed in that room in the morning I asked to be switched to a different room I was told as soon as someone checked out they would put us in another room and when we got back everything will be taken care of. When we got back the person now working had no idea what we were talking about and once again there wasn’t a room available after being told there would be so we ended up staying in a single room. But instead of putting us in other room they checked us out and we were charged again for the room we had already paid for.
They had to switch rooms because the toilet overflowed and there was no help. The staff were rude and you could tell they hated their job. The hotel was the worst part of our stay. They let kids run around without parents the elevator was always wet from the pool.
The people at the front desk were very nice. Our stay was comfortable and they might be one of the only places that still serve breakfast during the pandemic.
Check in was easy, our room was very clean and comfortable. We always travel with our dog and we were so happy that they could accommodate that for us. We stayed two nights and we will definitely stay again!
Overall cleanliness was not good. Pretty run down.

The lady walked out in the middle of our check in because I guess her shift was over that specific second? She had no customer service manners and was very loud and rude. The other lady that came in to take over just seemed to not comprehend my credit card was a credit card, not a prepaid card like I told her numerous times so we just handed her a different credit card that she used. We booked and paid ahead of time for one king size bed room. They told us they didn’t have a king bed, stared at us silently and didn’t offer a way to fix it. So I asked if we could just get a queen bed and she finally found a room for us. Everything we said/asked seem to just confused her and we kept getting round-about answers. There is a $50 charge they put on your credit card, like any other hotel, but she charged it twice and said there was problems on their end with trying to run it. When we checked out I had to go knock on the door behind the food prep area to ask for assistance. After a few knocks, loudly asking for assistance and calling the front desk (where I was standing) she finally came out. Everyone seemed clueless to what their job roles were, not helpful and took their sweet time doing everything.
Front staff was not wearing a mask. The pool was chilly and the hot tub was too hot. Room was comfortable. Got an assessible room but did not have a walk in shower.
When I woke up there was a bed bug on my husbands side of the bed when I let the office know they said they don’t have bed bugs so they moved us room we stepped in the new room before even putting out bags down I stripped the bed and another dead bed bug was on that bed too and I proceeded to call the office and they accused me of lying so I took a picture and showed them after going back and forth they said they will refund the money but it will take a couple of days so I’m just waiting for them to refund ,we were not the only ones that day that left because of bed bugs
