Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel

The hotel was modern, clean and a great location. The price was fair. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Even in this pandemic, with all the changes to hospitality, they were able to provide a great stay. A special note for Sophia at the front desk— she was so helpful and accommodating with my canceled flight and extended stay. She did everything with poise and a smile. I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Although the staff was very courteous and accommodating, we didn’t realize that this is a pet friendly hotel. The room next to us left their dog in the room alone and it barked for 4 hours straight 6am-10am. We were

great location and cool decor but we had trouble with the hot water throughout our stay. they also gave us no direction on the parking and finding our way into the building was difficult. one side door for several levels of parking and no easy way to get our luggage up. below our room was the weight room and every morning we awoke to the sound of weights hitting the floor. when we called the front desk to get toilet paper or try to get someone to fix our hot water they didn’t send anyone until we called repeatedly. everyone was nice but it was so hard to get what we needed. we paid a lot of money to not have hot water and be woken every morning. i will not stay here again.

I just spent 3 nights at the Renaissance. It's a great hotel, nicely designed and decorated, very clean. The lobby and the bar area were both very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. While there was no room service for just a 3 day stay, I was informed that should I need anything it would be brought up to the room. The room had plenty of conveniences you'd expect, such as toiletries, a hairdryer, USB charging outlets. A few little details were lacking, however - no laundry bag, the toilet paper (sure, maybe I'm spoilt but whenever I check into a hotel, the toilet paper is folded over to show the bathroom was recently cleaned...some places even seal it with a little sticker) was just kind of crookedly randomly torn, there were no slippers or a bathrobe (possibly due to covid?). Service was great, from the reception to the bar/restaurant staff, everyone was wonderful, helpful and friendly. Two things that lacked - no free wifi and no umbrellas available to the guests when it rains. Also, the food and drinks were pricier compared to options just outside of the hotel, but the convenience explains that. Overall though, it was a great stay and I would definitely come back.

This was a packed party hotel for people looking to go out and enjoy Midtown. Service was great, but rooms have thin walls and you can hear people talking and being loud at 3 in the morning. The hotel was clean and nice but had a trashy clientele.

I was so disappointed due to the fact that I saw All the photos and amazing reviews so I was like okay let’s stay here ! Upon arrival, front desk didn’t even ask or tell me anything but just gave me a key card . I had to ask what are your amenities and what can you guys offer ? The second day my Ubereat came and they didn’t bring up to my room. But what was disappointing was the fact the front desk lady in the morning didn’t even give me a call or bother to bring it up . Is this a 4 star hotel? Or is this a motel? There was no cups or glasses in the room to make tea or coffee . The shower had stains on the ground. I’m just confused and distraught because I thought this was supposed to be a nice hotel?
