Hotel Postiljon

Great location for the sites of Antwerp, plus a very friendly staff.

All was nice...just a bit noisy because of location and room on first floor on a narrow, much walked street. But a great location for walking around

Great little family run hotel. No frills but great location and perfect for short trips. Simple but nice continental breakfast was just the job to start the day.

The breakfast (and breakfast area) was great. I had chosen on of the budget rooms and that was an apt description. Three single beds, two wicker chairs and a tv - nothing else. Since I spent little time in the room I didn't mind. However the stair leading up to these rooms is extremely narrow and quite steep. Frankly, I would not feel safe trying to get heavy luggage up to the room, or going up and down with small children. Again, this was not an issue for me but be aware.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location. Breakfast is good. Staff is very attentive and helpful. My room had a viewto the Cathedral. The room is small but cozy and clean. This is a hotel to stay in when you want to explore Antwerp.

Antwerp is an amazing place to visit. The postilijohn is right in the heart of the historic centre. You can almost touch the cathedral from the room we stayed in. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was comfy, although I would personally have liked another pillow. It’s central location means you are close to loveky bars, cafes and restaurants without the need to rely on public transport. A great place to stay. You would not be able to stay here if you have mobility problems due to the steep narrow staircase but this quirkiness makes me like it all the more.

The welcome to Hotel Postiljon was wonderful! Such a friendly and helpful reception. The hotel was easy to find and so close to everything I could need on this trip. The room itself, was warn and could really do with a refresh. It served its purpose though... but was not totally clean (particularly with a large build-up of mildew in the shower) but despite that, I didn't feel it unsanitary. The cutlery and dishes at breakfast were also not so clean, with food stains still on some I picked up. I booked a private double room with a double bed and there were two single beds in the room.
