Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites River Park

My sister and I had prepaid for six nights at this hotel. The first three nights we were located on the first floor. There was a large group of road construction workers staying at the hotel. Hardly any were wearing masks. Some were partying in the breakfast area, no masks. They would hang out in the parking lot smoking and drinking just outside our window until late and then start up their diesel trucks at 5 am. We asked to be moved to the second floor. The window would not open and we had to have maintenance come and open it for us. This would not be a big deal if we felt comfortable that everyone was being as safe as possible during this global pandemic. The hotel has a mask policy but it does NOT enforce it. Stay somewhere else for your own health and safety.

Our stay was excellent we enjoyed the amenities and friendly service. Convenient grab and go breakfast. It was one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. We enjoyed the weekend very much. We would stay here again.

I've been to this hotel many times in the past. I like the location, restaurants, shops etc. Breakfast was very good before covid. I realize things change but when they charge the same price and only give you a yogurt and a fruitbar for breakfast it tells me there was no effort put into providing great service for customers. Very disappointed in that matter.

There were 2 issues. 1. It was very noisy at night. Doors slamming, kids running and screaming. I couldn't believe the lack of soundproofing. 2. I had to leave by 7 am to get to the airport and I was told they were providing breakfast boxes and they would be there for sure before 7 am. They were not. Very disappointing. Other than that, it was clean and staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

The ubication and the amenites great area but the room cleaned was no the same we expect

There are many, many hotels within 1 mile that are better, and better priced. My first impression of the hotel was that it’s dumpy. Compared to the others, it’s a step up from camping. Still COVID compliant here, no meals although included in price.

I did not get the room that i booked on hotel.com. My room smelled like cigarettes, so i had to ask for a different room. The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. It just didnt seem as clean as it was before.

Recently drove from Michigan Thought place was very clean and pool an hot tub were awesome, room an coffee was great!

Pillow covers had blood stains, breakfast provided was not what I was expecting
