Had an issue with the shower which needs fixing

Extremely dated rooms, shower was dreadful, staff forgot about the breakfast order, sky light in bathroom was covered in mud, but I must say the staff upon entry were very nice. Compared to other hotels in the vicinity it's definitely not worth the money.

Last minute choice of booking for a weekend away .. pictures on website are very deceiving. No parking available at hotel or in hotels either side so ended up having to park on the road of which you have to pay, which added to the cost of the already dyer room. Stayed in a room on the first floor, wow!! Does not look like it has been decorated or even looked after for a very long time. Stains to wallpaper, parts of wallpaper missing, not very clean, windows let in a cold draft, curtains looked older than my grandmother! Left early due to free parking between the hours of 8pm-9am and was not happy to pay more. Definitely a let down for an hotel based in a prime location with amazing views. Definitely not good enough!!

Great staff, fantastic view and great food

Friendly and helpful staff. What I did not like was how noisy our room was over night. Loud Generator had to close the window which didn’t really help that much, it made us hot, sweaty and uncomfortable. We also had to complain in the very early hours of the morning because some one kept opening the fire door to smoke, eight times at 5 to 10 minutes intervals setting off a loud alarm, which seemed directly underneath our window I don’t do well on lack of sleep!

The single bedroom was far too small and in a poor decorative state. The curtains were torn and the furniture old and the drawers did not open properly. Part of the ceiling near the bedroom door had obviously comedown and had been stuck back up. There were two steps which for an older person were dangerous. The bathroom was very basic with a tiny sink and a loose cold tap. The hot tap constantly dripped. The windows were frosted so you couldn’t see out of them. The view, When the Windows’s open, was awful onto a fire escape. I did complain and was told by the deputy manager that the hotel was full so I couldn’t be moved and that numerous people had complained about it. Also he wouldn’t put his mother into it.

We went as a couple with a toddler. Ups: great customer service from reception and waitresses, nice swimming pool and sauna, delicious breakfast. Downs: The corridors were always busy with litter bags and cleaning products (a trolley would make it look tidier). Walls are too thin and we could hear conversations, laughs and babies crying on our floor. We paid for parking but one night there was not enough parking space.

The property needs a revamp, has potential but seems they havent bothered in a long time, the walls are thin but the bed was quite comfortable and the shower was nice as the bathroom seemed quite new. The hotel is right on the beach so nice location, reception staff always friendly and let us leave our luggage until later that day and we came back for it. Cleaners not so polite but not a big deal. I could stay here again but wouldnt rush back.

Very busy at reception not a lot of people wearing masks, think should not be charging for the car park when you are staying there had trouble with the key for our room and our television had no remote contol and didnot work

Reception great except the young man told me our room wasn’t ready yet. This was 3.10 in the afternoon. I went back up to the desk 10 minutes later for a lovely young lady to tell me that in fact our room was ready and had been for some time. Upon finding our room I was surprised when a lady used her own key to enter the room without so much as a knock !! She then asked if the room was clean enough ? Thankfully myself and my daughter were both decent at the time, rest assured the latch was firmly on the lock after this !!! The room was basic but clean and sufficient for our stay. However the walls were a bit thin and we could hear conversations in the room next door. Which also means they would’ve heard me farting all night 😂. Overall a good stay if you ignore the rude entry and also the noisy cleaners in the hallway in the morning
