This is a classic motel perfectly run by caring folks. It is just 10 rooms of convenience and perfect for a business mission or to use as an extra guest room. My family and friends have rediscovered the simplicity of motels when easy access to your car, and fast in and out are part of the draw.

Not as good as it looks; needs help
This is the most bare bones motel I've been to in a long time. It makes Motel 6 look very nice. The photos on the Hotels.com website make it look much nicer than it is. The bed was comfortable but the carpet was filthy and included an area that looked like it had melted and there were stains all over the carpet. The telephone was disgustingly dirty as if it had never been wiped down - ever. This motel uses a real key (almost unheard of these days), but the locks are wimpy and the doors are thin. It's in a decent neighborhood but it doesn't feel safe. While it has a small microwave and fridge, there is no in room coffee maker, no lobby coffee or breakfast, and no hair dryer. It also doesn't seem up to code. While bare bones is OK, this felt like it needed a major upgrade to get to 1.5-star level. I stayed only one night and opted to pay a little more for more better experience elsewhere. Yes, it's inexpensive for the area, but is, in my opinion, not worth the $105 price. On the plus side, the manager behind the glass enclosure in the office was very nice. This place needs an infusion of cash for sure.

Price gauging Motels
It was ok. It's just a little family run place, average, overpriced motel here in the Bay area. These places get away with price gauging everyday, but the yuppie computer geeks have more money than they know what to do with so I don't blame them....

Will not stay here again
The hotel reception is extremely lazy. They would not come to the front desk when I rang the desk bell. I had to call the hotel to request for a receipt and they still would not come to the front desk. They told me to just print one online. For business expense purposes, my work request for a physical copy from the hotel. This hotel uses disposable paper mats for the bathroom and does not provide tissue paper. Will not be staying here again.
