Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel, Turku

Hotels.com lets you book a King size ved but the reservation goes through as room for 2. So you might also get a twin room, as we did. The room had not been vacuum cleaned and there was dust everywhere. Also one mug in the bathroom had someone’s toothpaste in it. The receptionist asked housekeeping to clean the room again and the housekeeper came in with just a cloth. The shower knobs are so tight that it’s difficult to rotate them if wet/soapy hands. Men’s sauna didn’t have a thermometer and there were sharp corners where one of us hurt himself. The breakfast is very basic. There is some variety, but nothing special/different. The hotel gym is basic but could use some more equipment, e.g. broader variety of kettle bells and some elastic bands. The floor is also quite slippery there. The receptionist was friendly. The location is good - close to many restaurants and cafes and the river. Also the church is close by. For this price I was expecting more.

Restaurant for dinner was delicious, beautifully cooked and served and lovely surroundings , sauna was great but wished it was open during the day too. Room was clean aside from dirty coffee cups, bathroom clean too but shower not very powerful. Asked for king size, was two singles together which was great for size but they didn’t link so they kept sliding apart and when one bed with two people, one big duvet is nicer!

A superbly positioned hotel right on the river front. Ampel paid parking both above and below ground - ideal for the cold winters!. The staff are very friendly, professional and always polite, they ensure your stay is relaxing and problem-free. Bar and restaurant are comfy with a good atmosphere and the food served to a high standard. This is an ideal business hotel with easy access to central Turku and the sights.

The staff and service was excellent, courteous and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will return again.

New Year’s Eve in Turku - Marina Palace was chosen for accommodation. Quite happy for that - all good. The room was quiet and nice also on this special day of the year.

The central location overlooking the river is excellent.

A friendly, well placed hotel for anyone visiting Turku. The hotel would suit families and business travellers. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to ensure your stay is faultless. Rooms are large, well equipped, clean and warm. If you're lucky (or pay more) you get a great view of the river and the riverside boats and walks. Easy to recommend. Book well in advance for the best rates.

Room was comfortable with a good bed and pillows. Nice modern bathroom.
