B-Hotel

Great location, right by the Placa Espanyol square and metro station. Super easy to walk to Eixamle, Las Ramblas, etc. Big rooms with very spacious beds and interesting bathroom layout.

I have to be honest, my research for a hotel in Barcelona basically halted as soon as I saw that B-Hotel had a rooftop pool. This really could've gone either way, but we lucked out and had the most amazing experience here. The room was spacious and laid out really well. The bathroom was great, I always appreciate when the shower and sink are separate from the toilet so two people can use the bathroom at once. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a fair amount of storage space for our things in the room itself. The lobby was inviting, and the front desk staff friendly and helpful. One thing I was bummed about was the lack of currency exchange service in the hotel, but maybe that's not a normal offering at Spanish hotels? We took full advantage of the pool, spending most of our late afternoons there to relax before dinner. The bar up there was well stocked, and the sangria was great. One night there was a cocktail making class which was cute. They also told us we were welcome to take our own drinks up which was a surprising perk, and the grocery store in The Arena next to the hotel was well stocked with wines and beers. The location is a little outside of the tourist attractions, but that's why we chose it. The proximity to public transit was perfect for us to get around the city quickly and easily, but there's also plenty to walk to, and its less than a half hour to walk to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. B-Hotel will definitely be seeing us again!

Great hotel in a great location. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day. The rooftop swimming pool and bar has some awesome views. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were in Barcelona in early October, the hotel is conveniently located near Placa d'Espanya. Dont forget to check out the water fountain light show! The hotel in modern, has a nice roof top pool and bar with great views. Our room had a large bed, very comfortable, only issue really was how to figure out the room light switches. Once figured them out is was ok. We also missed a capsule coffee maker, but plenty on local cafe on the same corner. And if you are a fan of chain cafes, well there is a Starbuck on the ground floor adjacent to the reception.. For fitness enthusiasts, grab a day pass from the reception to the gym next door! This will set you back 15 euros, but the gym is well worth it. And after training get some guilt free paella and sangria. :)
