Squaw Valley Lodge

Location, location was great. Place is a little dated, but clean and spacious. Maintenance was going, but not a bother. Covid prevented use of hot tub, pool, and daily room cleaning. Will go back.

The bed was too small. Otherwise room was nice and clean.

Nice place in Squaw Valley, property is very clean, quiet location. Not real busy now as we are between summer and winter vacation times. Management and staff are taking covid-19 precautions very seriously which we liked. I would recommend and will likely use again.

My girlfriends and i along with our children came to stay here to get away for the weekend. Although our stay was comfortable. I had hoped that they would have xtra garbage bags, toilet paper for the kitchen without having to go to the front desk and ask for more (limiting face to face contact). We decided to stay in and enjoy the mountain air thru the balcony and limit interactions with people. Nonetheless, I would come back to this place again and keep in mind adding list of things I need to bring with me.

We loved the location to the bike trail and bike rentals. We could walk to Squaw Village which has many dining options. The rooms are spacious, clean and it was very quiet. Although, their rooms need updating. This would be a fanatic hotel to stay at during the ski season too. You get a lot for the price.

Covid makes the conditions a challenge, but we had a good time hiking around Squaw and eating in the Village. The kitchen was adequate for cooking an evening meal, even though the microwave wasnt working very well. It was a pleasure to see the mountains and breathe clean air.

Rooms were spacious, bathroom was spacious. A good cleaning would go a long way. Nice sheets and pillows would make a big difference. Our linens were so thin And worn they had definitely seen better days. Only two frumpy pillows per queen bed and no additional pillows were available from front desk. Half a roll of toilet paper in our bathroom no additional roll provided, weird. Old dirty area rugs on top of carpet. I guess it’s necessary during snowy season to absorb all the wetness but pretty off-putting. If you want to use the room as a relaxation type of getaway this is not it. It is a great location if you just need a place to sleep and shower.

Great place to rest

First time booking a lodging at lake tahoe. They only had few rooms left and we are glad we got to stay at this place. Very nice property. Clean and quiet. We went here during the pandemic most places are closed but the ones that are open have covid protocols. Walking distance to olympic village restaurants and shops. This place must be spectacular during winter time. We will definitely be back at this place.

The sofa bed was terrible but the people were super nice and helpful. We noticed lots of people not wearing mask. The hotel has a policy in place that required everyone to wear a mask during COVID-19. They need to do a better job on forcing the policy. If they don't why have a policy? We will probably not go again. Thank you!
