Cancelled my booking before I arrived, because I arrived too late in the early AM. Staff was rude and didn’t try to fix the issue - they told us we would have to wait til 12pm to check in, so we would have to wait hours in the cold. The young boy at the desk was snarky and gave us no help.

The location is fine as it is close to the boardwalk but guests of the motel were dubious characters; milling around the parking lot and smoking out there as well. At one point in the middle of the night someone tried to open the frontdoor which woke me up and scared the hell out of me. Also the bathroom sink was clogged up the moment I turned it on for water use and then stunk everytime the water was trying to go down the pipes. I would say to spend the extra $20 bucks and stay somewhere safer. And I am not sure they are following covid19 regulations as the motel seemed full.

Location is not the best, kinda by the flats so, it looked nice but I wouldn’t recommend.

I couldn’t sleep, very thin walls. Blankets were so thin. My son and I were cold. Heater worked in one room the other was no good. Please don’t forget to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. No conditioner, only lotion. Only two body towels. Wound not recommend this hotel.

Great off-season price for Santa Cruz and overall a good average motel. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Room came with a mini frig, microwave, blow dryer, iron & ironing board and a coffee station. Areas of dislike: pillows & bed were hard, towels were small, walls are paper thin which explained earplugs in drawer lol, bedding was outdated and felt like a paper think layer of memory foam. Room could use overall updating. All that considered, this place is clean and priced affordably. Staff let me check in early and were friendly. I would have no problem staying here again.

If you’re a light sleeper, only downside is a little noise.

This was my second time staying there. The first time was in March and it was a really nice stay. This time we got a room that had seen better days. (Rm 118) I couldn't get the t.v to work and some of the outlets don't work. The doors needed a good scrubbing and some holes in the walls could use patching. The important parts were great, the bed, the toilet, the shower were nice. Also I don't know if there was remodeling going on in the room above us but they were loud until late in the evening and then started up again at 4:45am. I'll have to remember to request an upstairs room next time. Lastly, please install extra security locks on the doors. Ours barely clicked shut and didn't feel totally safe.

We were offered a suite which was perfect for our needs. Excellent customer service. Was a bit noisy from sirens, but that's not the hotels fault.

Booked thinking it was only $80. Was charged $60 for my pets. Almost as much as the cost of the room. No breakfast offered 😕
