Smelled like they used a wet towel to clean the floors.

I enjoyed my over night stay. Staff was very friendly. Very clran. Will stay here again. I recommend to all. Price was very fair.

Customer service kinda poor.. no shower curtain they don’t answer front desk phones they don’t give WiFi passcode so u have to walk to the office for it..there was hairs on my bed and the bathroom toilet paper roll wasn’t replaced

They required a cash deposit, which they then refused to give back, claiming I checked out at 4pm, when in fact that isn't the case. They also refused to give me a receipt for the deposit upon check-in, stating, "just come here."

Staff was very nice! Like that there was a pool! Drawbacks were it was not very clean (large amount of hair on the towel, used shampoo bottles left) and AC was a little bit weak. Otherwise, pretty good option for price and location

You get what you pay for but I expected at least a clean room. I already live in LA. My apartment doesn't have AC so I stayed at the Hollywood City inn in Hollywood for 2 nights to escape the heat wave. I picked them because they provided AC, Fridge, Microwave and the price was only 100 a day. Those were the Pros. The Cons. I was greeted at the window with an employee telling me I can't have any visitors. If I did, then I would be kicked out with no refund. I get to the room and there is no TV remote. I go back to the office and the employee gives me a remote with batteries taped in because it didn't have a back cover. I go back to the room and put the do not disturb sign up. 20 minutes into my stay and I have a knock on the door from maintenance. He urgently has to switch out the room telephone. However, they replace the nicer phone with an outdated phone. The room was not clean by any means even though the employee said they clean extra because of Covid-19. Definitely not true. The floors had dust, crumbs, and sticky spots. The counters were not wiped clean. The toilet seat was dirty. 2 of the 3 pillow cases had stains and every towel had hair embedded in them. The fridge was also not cleaned. Spiders roamed the room which means other bugs were there because as we know, spiders eat bugs. The clientele seemed to be a younger crowd. A little loud music but that was fine. Even though the rooms aren't connected, my room filled up with weed smoke

We really enjoyed this eclectic and nostalgic hotel experience. It was fun to enjoy all the renovations that have been made and celebrate and support an historical expression of LA. We enjoyed a great burger at Cassela’s restaurant attached right next to the hotel on the corner. Coffee places are easily walkable and you can enjoy the famous Dave’s chicken just around the corner as well. And, apparently, there some amazing a Korean restaurants a quick walk as well I truly hope this day will carry with it some fun, adventure, hopefulness along with a lot of grace, flexibility, and kindness to yourself (and others ;). We are ALL learning new skills which take time. Since learning is something we’ll do the rest of our lives...let’s just take one day at a time. Take a deep breath and enjoy today. We are some of your biggest fans. . If you do not want to try to find a parking place on the street, there is a parking lot that costs 16.50 a day, that the hotel offer. The lobby of this hotel is also an experience in itself. It is loaded with many comfortable seating areas and even features a water fountain with koi fish!

The fire alarm fell off the ceiling out of nowhere, then we almost got blamed For it. Staff can be rude sometimes.

It was very nice and clean, and beds were so comfy..the owner was very nice and the pool was nice and clean as well..overall it was a great stay
