Novotel Aachen City

It was a good hotel. The one thing I will take from my stay was the possibility to opt out of having your room cleaned every day and instead the hotel donates a small amount to planting trees. Just hope the actually do it.

Great location. Large room. Helpful and friendly staff.

Clean and tidy room with very comfortable bed. Not in the best area, but we never felt unsafe even at night. The breakfast choices were very varied, including cooked and healthy options. Service very friendly.

Brilliant hotel in central location. Rooms are large and spacious. Even though this hotel is on a main road, with the windows closed you can not hear a thing. Breakfast was excellent and catered for all needs from full English to continental pastries to super food seeds, berries and nuts - you will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here. It was an easy stroll of 15mins to the train station and a quick 10mins walk to the old town. Highly recommend this hotel

It’s is very close to the center of Aachen, convenient parking and lots of nearby middle eastern super markets and restaurants.

Great hotel for the price. There were three of us - one adult with two children and they put an extra sofa bed in the rion which worked very well, though the sofa bed is probably only big enough for one adult or two v small children. Staff were very helpful and location is good

This was my first time staying in a Novotel. Usually, they are near airports but this one was right in the middle of the city. My one complaint is that the neighborhood was kind of sketchy with a lot of people loitering outside nearby. The hotel itself is pretty basic but decent value for the money. The breakfast was actually very good but not 19 Euros each good. Still it's better than trying to find somewhere to eat first thing in the morning in a new city.

Hotel was comfortable, room was sort of small but adequate for our family with 2 younger kids. Breakfast was delicious! And the kids enjoyed the small play area while we enjoyed coffee. The location is definitely walkable but you pass through a small questionable area

Friendly staff and an easy walk to the Cathedral from the hotel. I didn’t have an environmental badge on my rental car so I parked in a garage recommended by the Aachen city website by the stadium. €5 for 24 hours and a short bus ride right to the hotel.
