Very nice place to stay, I would definitely love to come back without Covid time, as there is no hot meal in the morning.

It was a nice quiet area with a good view of water

My experience with BW Gatineau was very poor, first off when we checked in our balcony had little hair trimmed lying on the railing. Maybe someone was cutting the hair from the top or the previous guest might have done it, it was the job of the hotel staff to check all that and give a cleanroom. Also, the floor of the balcony and the carpet inside were dirty. You need to often clean it with a carpet cleaner with a water wash setting. Now coming to the bathroom, the ceiling in the tub was repaired but it wasn't professionally done and had cracks. The one mattress was pressed and in bad shape. Staff experience was also bad, there was a language barrier as they didn't understand English. We requested for a bassinet for a child, but then it was broken and the staff was not able to open it. We requested for additional pillows but the service was slow. The receptionist told me to come down if I need additional coffee creamer and sugar because it will be much quicker. Hotel.com didn't communicate that the breakfast would be like a snack and the parking fees would be an additional charge. The hotel looks good from outside but not maintained properly from inside. Just because it has the best view of the Ottawa river and Parliament doesn't mean its the best. I would rate my overall experience 1 out 5. Also if you need a balcony double check as they are limited.

I enjoyed the pool, clean and warm. I enjoyed less the room, it had a cigarette or a stale smell i could not identify. Breakfast was also a disappointment but I understand that these are difficult times so Overall my stay was good.

The hotel might need some ugrades like the flooring, bathtub, wallpaper. The Loby was pretty.

L’hôtel est très bien. Bien situé. Seule point négatif c'est qu'il y a seulement 2 déjeuner inclus par chambre et même si sur Hotel.com il est écrit déjeuner inclus pour tous. J'ai dû débourser 6$ par enfants pour une boîte à lunch qui ne vaut pas ça. L'hôtel dit que c'est la faute à Hotel.com et que c'est écrit sur leur site. Quand est-ce qu'on va voir le site de l'hotel quand on book en ligne sur un site.

We loved staying at this hotel. River view was awesome. Customer service was excellent.
