Nice Hotel
Very nice hotel . WiFi could be better on the south side of hotel . North side of hotel is a little lacking if you like the sunlight during the day . checking in and out could be a little faster . Like any Hotel in Kearny Mesa , it’s a very good location to get anywhere in San Diego County really fast with plenty of quick freeway access .

Check in was interesting. We were assigned our room and we went to the parking lot to bring in our things. We opened the door of the room to discover the light on and either someone was staying in the room or it was extremely dirty. There were towels strewn about, a room key on the desk, and the bed was slept in. Talk about creepy! Made us fear that someone would try to barge into our room at any time! We were given another room on the fourth floor that smelled VERY STRONGLY of marijuana. I don’t care if people smoke in general but the hotel should enforce the no smoking policy. The whole floor stunk and for asthmatics, this made our stay very uncomfortable. The new room was dirty but thankfully we brought our own cleaning supplies. Parking was $14 a night which seemed a little outrageous for the lack of quality and cleanliness of the hotel and the parking lots. Overall, I would not recommend nor would we stay again.

Bed was not comfortable and the comforter was not large enough to cover the king sized bed. Due to covid the rooms are not cleaned. We had a 5 day stay and had to service the room ourselves. Not desirable for hotel lodging

Lackluster hotel! Shady guests!
The hotel was OK, nothing special. I have stayed at a lot of Courtyard Marriotts and this was on the lower end. We did not get to use the pool which looked nice, using some of the amenities may have altered my opinion but the weather did not permit. The room was on the small side. Bathroom was bare, not a mirror or even shelf to hang stuff while you showered. There were old used coffee wrappers behind the TV which meant housekeeping was slacking, which is scary in the era of COVID. While sitting outside smoking we notice a lot of sketchy activity. There was a big party on the 1st floor and lots of women that appeared to be strippers or prostitutes entering the hotel through the back door and men coming in and out the room with beer cans in their hands looking around in the most suspicious way. Whole ordeal was super shady! The noise level was concerning. Not an employee in site! Would not stay here again. I expected more considering my other options in this price range.
