Sonesta ES Suites Portland Vancouver 41st Street

I reserved a 2br suite with one king size bed & one queen size. At first i was happy with the room but after the "awe" wore off i noticed a lot of things that quickly turned that around. First off the room comes equipped with dishes and they have them in the dishwasher which was already ran and ready for you to use which is nice.. But when they dont actually rinse off or clean the dishes beforehand it causes their to be food stuck on the dishes and almost impossible to get the food off. That was the condition of the flatware. All the forks and knifes had food pretty much cemented onto them which is gross and definitely not appreciated when spending so much money on a room per night. Second. Pretty much all the amenities were closed or not accessible which definitely should be compensated by lowering the room rates atleast until covid is done and the amenities are usable. Third.. these are nonsmoking units or so i thought. I personally stayed in the room with the queen sized bed and when i took a shower the evening i checked in i had to clean the tub before i could use it cause it definitely was not cleaned byt maybe rinsed out at most.. also when i got out i could see nicotine seeping out of the walls in the bathroom. So it was pretty obvious that previous guests definitely smoked in the unit and the walls were never cleaned properly. After the dishes and the bathroom i began to notice a lot more that definitely has been neglected.I wish i didnt pay so much to stay

My room gad a pink sticky stain on the cqrpet...when i showered there was no shampoo nor conditioner. When husband called they said it was late and the team responsible for that was gone for the day. No one but them had a key, we had to go out to buy our own. Neighbors were loud and were banging doors and walls. At check out i was asked how my stay went. I started to say bad and the receptionist said well thats not good, bye!!!

Broken elevator and they put me on 4th floor Room smelt like bad cooked food and I couldn't get smell out by opening windows Communication was difficult when calling to front desk

Okay seriously, this hotel was awesome. We had been driving all day long and got stuck in horrible Seattle traffic. It was such a relief when we got there, it was so clean and HUGE. The rooms were separated and had their own bathrooms and it had a living room/ dining area and kitchen. Compared to other hotels for the same price, this was the best by far. I have little ones and they were touching everything, which usually makes me cringe, but the room was so clean it was OK. Plus, I got to do laundry for free! Which was awesome after a 7 day road trip with 2 babies

It was perfect. We were able to wash clothes there for free which was so nice

Great stay at Staybridge in Vancouver, WA! Comfortable, quiet, and close to restaraunts, shopping, and major highways. Very friendly staff!

Overall the stay is pretty good. There is issue when the side door that can’t detect the card key.
