Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Convention Center

Very clean hotel. Me and the family enjoyed ourselves. Only 2 problems I had was there was no housekeeper to clean our room. We left to go grab something to eat giving the housekeeper time to clean our room. We came back the the room wasn’t cleaned 😑. We had to go and get towels and other things we needed for our room. The next problem was parking. You either pay for parking or park on the side of the road (Better hope there is somewhere to park). Other than that, I enjoyed my stay🙂

Lack of Compassion & Common Sense. Many of us understand the challenges many people and business are going through during COVID times. However it seems as it big companies are hiding behind this excuse not only to cut the work force but to blame the lack of compassion, common sense and lack of customer service behind the COVID excuse. During my recent stay at this property I encounter that for us as “guest” booking the rooms in single day increments instead of a entire stay seems like a better idea in order to receive housekeeping services. We are still paying full rates Covid or not; housekeeping or not. The solution however seems easy and simple, if a guest stays longer than 2-3 days offer them fresh towels, guide them for the disposal of garbage from the room, or simply offer them the required amenities for their stay making their booking more comfortable. This was not the case at this property, the manager seemed upset and bother when I requested fresh towels and amenities 3 days into the stay. Additionally, people book hotels because their are traveling and it is normal to use the bathrooms after a trip. Reaching the hotel is for many a relief, the end of the trip and the begging of the vacations. For other it’s simply a good night rest before work whichever the case might be this would be home-base for the next few days. Room was extremely HOT, called front desk and they didn’t change our room.

I truly enjoyed my stay. This was the best Hotels.com hotel ive been too in tterms of 1. Cleaniness... 2. Comfort.. 3 Check in customer service..Mz. Jasmine... 4.. TV. Was modern. With no technical problems. 5.location.... Thank you very much...

Jasmine and Shaun at the front desk were very friendly,polite and helpful! You should be very proud to have such wonderful young people on your staff.

I have mixed reviews about my stay. The front desk host was great. She was the only visible employee and was doing everyone’s job. We had a different experience once we got to the room. The seal of clean was on the door. We had traveled 10 hours to pick my daughter up from college and were tired. We pulled out the bed in the couch. It was stained. We tried to call the front desk and discovered our phone did not work. We thought about walking downstairs but decided against it because she was the only employee. There was no bedding for the couch. We obtained that from the front desk, earlier. Also, we went to lock the door to the bathroom which did not work either. We found skittles in the couch and there were dried stains on the bathroom sink. The room was the appropriate size and the decor was beautiful but we were concerned about the upkeep. Maybe it was Covid affecting the upkeep. I don’t know but it makes me leery about returning.

Worst hotel staff ever! The front desk need basic training on how to deal with customers. He gave me an unclean room first then I ask he changes the room for use. He gives me an attitude towards the end.

The parking was horrible we couldn't get into the garage because we had to call to have them open the gate and no one would answer the phone even though they were sitting at the desk,so we had to get out of the car walk to the front of the hotel and tell them to open the gate

My stay was great, the front desk was very help full and attentive. The Hotel itself is very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I'll def stay there again!

Definitely will stay again the next time im in New Orleans.. Staff was very friendly and welcoming
