Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor

The room was great. The staff were very helpful with my elderly parents as they couldnt order drinks with a phone. The evening meal was fantastic but the breakfast was awful it was stone cold both my parents left it.

I recently stayed for a 2 night business trip, the COVID arrangements in place are as good as can be expected, you need to wear a facemask when in public places and there are hand sanitisers all around the hotel. The staff are friendly and doing the best job they can in the current situation. You can only eat in the restaurant as a group of up to 6 if you are family members, you can however eat as a group in the bar area of non family members, as I was meeting some colleagues, we chose to eat in the bar area rather than alone in the restaurant - not sure I understand the logic of that. My two grumbles are, firstly, in the bar area you have to order drinks and food via the Coldra Court app, as a business guest it is difficult to get a receipt, you receive an email notifying you they have received your order, but it is not an invoice - please sort this out. Secondly, and a minor point is parking which is £7 per night, it needs to be included in the cost of the room, I don't like hidden charges.

What a beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, great facilities and cracking food

Stayed in many hotels since COVID-19 and this was by far the least relaxing and comfortable stay. Took 45 to get a drink from the bar after pre- authorizing my credit card. Breakfast was very difficult also to order over the app for more than 1 person. Also picking cereals etc placing them on a tray then having it distributed by a member of staff defeats the object of “ being safe” and not contaminating items.

Horrible experience. Booked swimming pool but said its full during checkin. Breakfast order doesnot went throught smoothly in their qr scan ordering system. Not comfortable beds. Flushing toilets needs very hard pushing to work

They stay it’s self was lovely but breakfast was very disappointing.. I didn’t eat it and walked out after I hD finished my tea and Croissants

Clean and COVID conscious hotel. Felt safe and well organised. Food and Drinks by App to book tables and order food.

All round excellence. Perfect break away, travelling with work etc . Would suit all needs . 5* service

Been going there for many years, lovely and clean. Lovely staff, very comfy rooms beds

Good hotel for the price. Good size rooms and bathrooms. Big lobby.. Pool was closed due to covid.. Could do with a new carpet and paint everywhere.. Room service booked through the app was easy.
