Hollywood Casino & Hotel St. Louis

The hotel was very nice. Free on-site parking, very clean, comfortable, and spacious.

Not real happy with the condition of the mattress again this trip we have gone to this hotel/casino many times in the past and the last two visits the mattress has been worn out and needs to be replaced. Overall we were satisfied, also St. Louis county has loosened up with some COVID rules.

The price for the room was ridiculous and no complimentary breakfast nor coffee. I will never stay at rhis location again.

For the money it cost to stay it was not worth it. Checking in people were rude. The bathroom sink was broke & the faucet was not attached which made it difficult to turn off the water. None of the USB plugs in worked.

No where on site did it say everything inside the casino would be closed at 11pm on a Friday. All restaurants & bars were closed & drink stations roped off. The mattress in room had springs in it (didn't know they made those in the last 10+ years). Could feel the springs through it & was extremely noisy and uncomfortable. Bathroom/shower drain made loud pop noise followed by a gurgle and then what sounded like a huge, loud cofee machine brewing for 5 minutes every 15 minutes. Something resembling toothpaste rubbed on wall in room. Wouldn't stay again.

Hotel did as much as they could with Covid Restrictions. Drinks were not allowed on the Casino floor, but smoking was. While we understand there have to be restrictions the logic just doesn't seem to make sense. Also the restriction to stop serving alcohol at 10:00 was a big bust for our group. At 3:00 a.m. the fire alarm went off. Room was clean but overall would wait to go to the casino/hotel again until restrictions are lifted.

It was wonderful, no issues

The room was clean, I've stayed a couple times but both times I have to say issues has happened such as 3am security came beating on my door the first time found out it was 2 older ladies in there with the tv on but it was the room next to us people were partying and the smell of weed was so strong It was terrible I did report it this time I stayed 3 am i heard hollering outside my door i get up and peeked through the key hole and there was security hollering for back up and a big dude telling security you better not put your hands on me he was holding a beer bottle over his head while security was calling for back up, this was the 2nd time, both times weed smells in the hallway was so strong but then I suppose it's legal for some and i didn't mind it really but they sure need to put older people away from the young partiers it happens with each stay we stay but I like the hotel except for not being able to even brin a bottle of water on the casino floor

Hotel was great. Bedding was newer, front desk was quick, the lady and the man at the front desk were very welcoming, room was a nice size, flooring was nice, and the place was clean. Couldn’t get my remote to work but it wasn’t a big deal
