Homewood Suites Dallas/Park Central

The stay itself was great we booked on this app and when we arrived the desk lady was very mean she had said you need to rebook no one told me and I need to do my audits at 3 am we were arriving very very late :/ she kinda made my family and I feel unwanted ! Our room on the other hand was amazing and clean , and the morning breakfast was relishes along with the staff

The pool air conditioning was out. We were looking forward to a swim the evening we arrived and were directed to a hotel across the street. But their pool was filthy. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed this stay and will return.

For the price the stay was great. Two separate rooms and small kitchen were great. Slightly outdated rooms, but were great and clean. Only dislikes were hallways and elevators were super hot, we had a couple lights that did not work, and the indoor pool seemed like it had 5gallons of chlorine in it.

It was nice and clean. The only bad thing was when eating breakfast someone over cooked a waffle and when I walked up the lady with silver hair attending the breakfast was so rude! I told her I just walked up and barely poured my batter. Everyone else was super nice. The pool had a lot of chlorine but that can be understandable with all the people that swim.

I stayed here primarily due to proximity to an office building I would be working at for the week. My biggest issue is that room titled "One Bedroom Suite, One King Bed, Non-Smoking" is for a SMOKING room (missed the tiny print in the details). They were able to switch me over to a non-smoking room then next day. The difference between the smoking room and the non-smoking room was night-and-day (even excluding the reek of cigarettes). This is an old property, in a less-than-great neighborhood. Do not expect to go out for a walk after sunset. While I had no other issues, and the staff was very friendly, I would consider this hotel overpriced (at one-forty a night) and a hard pass for me in the future.
