Good hotel with big beds, clean, good breakfast included, friendly and very helpful staff, a little paint job wouldn't go a miss but for the little time I spent in the hotel ...who cares!! Would stay again, great value for money!
It provides standard accommodation with what else it entails. Average comfort, average bedroom and average furniture. The room was cleaned and taken care every day but the shower is small and old and needs renovation. Breakfast is more than ok. If the price was less than 100 Euro then the whole package would be ok, but I believe this a general problem with Brussels hotels since they are busy due to the European Commission and European Parliament presence.
Value for money wasn't great at €85/night, although breakfast was pretty good. Fire safety laws are not properly observed in the wing I was assigned to, as the signage clearly attested. The heating system in my room was not working, so they brought up a space heater with an extension cord. The water in the shower was just lukewarm most days. For the cost, I think I could have done better even in central Brussels.
Rather expensive ... but convenient for EU Commission!
I am usually very satisfied with Siru but not this time. The room was not cleaned one of the days and we did not have clean towels. Although they promised to bring some, after I waited for more than two hours, I went and picked them up from the reception. Not all of the lamps in the room functioned ..This is not a professional service!
Hotel amenities are fine, especially the cleanliness and free wifi. Centrally located and near to the transport network (just in front of Rogier Metro and 100 metres away from the Train North Station), shops and restaurants. The only annoying part is the small lift that takes ages to be available especially during busy hours of the day.
Everything about this Hotel was a bit meh. Breakfast the highlight
In general, for price paid, a good hotel in a good location. A bit noisy from traffic. In particular, emergency vehicles. No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms.
+ Location is nice, bear bus station, tram and metro and not far from north train station ( around 600 m.) Breakfast is nice included room price that is very satisfactory. Room is clean - the 2 elevators are too small (I guess not over 5 persons without luggage) and very slow, difficult to use. And I try to use the stairs instead, but its doors are locked all floor, no choice to must wait the elevator only. The room is a bit old and the door can use but not quite good.
Some examples: 1) The door handle of the bathroom was loose to the point of almost falling off (which could result in someone being locked in the bathroom with no way out). I reported this to the front desk and was assured that it would be fixed. It wasn't. 2) I wondered why the room was so dim, and only on the last day I realized that half of the overhead light bulbs were burned out and hadn't been replaced. I reported this too, but I have no idea whether it was fixed. 3) The only elevator was so slow that it was (much) quicker to take the stairs. 4) More than half the time there was nobody at the front desk. I realize that hotels in Brussels are vastly overpriced, but even by that standard, this doesn't seem like a good balance between price and performance.
