The pictures that are posted of the hotel online are not what you get. Old, outdated rooms. The carpet was filthy & needs to be replaced. You walk into the room & get hit by a smelly stench like dirty feet. Stained towels & old worn out bedding. It surprises me that places like this don't take pride in their facilities. Ghetto to say the least. The customer service at the front desk was good, but the condition of the rooms is bad.
The process of checking-in went well. However, I was surprised and disappointed that all the ground floor rooms with outdoor entry were closed. Being in a pandemic, it makes sense to prioritize that rooms such as that are available. The hand sanitizer bottle at the front desk was empty. The clerk at the front desk did not always wear a mask. There were people in common areas not wearing masks as well. The AC/heater unit was not functioning. The problem was easily solved. There was no coffee maker. That was eventually remedied. The TV did not work. That was remedied as well. There was a foul smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom and it took quite a while to dissipate. The voices of the people in the adjoining room were easily heard through the double doors and they kept me awake part of the night. The water from the shower was tepid. Staying at this Days Inn was not a very good experience for me.
The stay was okay overall not pleased normally when u book through hotels.com my experience is usually smooth and no issues bt it was a few minor issues that made me reconsider staying there.
I booked a two bed room for my wife and two kids. There was only one towel and when i asked the front desk about it they said i would have to wait for cleaning services. There was graffiti on yhe mirror and a sock ( that didnt belong to us)on our second day was left between the beds. Even after multiple requests we only got one towel between the 4 of us. The front door had so much of a gap we had to keep our 17 month old from getting his entire hand under it.
Room was not absolutely disgusting, however there was a little amount of smeared feces on the bathroom wall. There were no bath towels available to us, like there were only two hand towels and a floor towel. When we asked for some they were none available until housekeeping came in so we were given more hand towels to use. Plus was the shower was hot! The outside door threshold offered no seal the light shined through and you could feel the air coming through as well. This was definitely over priced and not worth it.
Not very clean. Ripped carpet, stained sheets, room smelled.
TV did not work until desk clerk came to switch from game mode, phone did not work. There were only rooms on second floor with no handicapped access, just stairs. It took 15 minutes and 4 phone calls to get anyone at the front desk upon check in.
It was very nice. Only thing I did not like it did not have refrigerator in the morning and could not go swimming because the COVID 19 virus . No iron in the room and I to go wrinkle to class.
The location is awful and it is very hard to get into via the roads. The hotel is in need of a remodel chipped paint in the rooms and what looked like mold around the tub. We had a inside room on the main floor and they flood lights in the flower box faced towards room so eve with curtains closed the flood light was to bright. The front desk staff when checking in was very unfriendly. We had a booked for a family of 4 and we were provided with 2 towels and 2 cups. The only good thing I have to say about this property if the evening front desk clerk John was nice and helpful when I asked for additional towels and cups.
Cleaning staff did not wear masks all the time. Was quoted a different price from my reservation quote.
