Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston Energy Corridor/Katy Freeway

This hotel was booked for a hurricane evacuation need. When we booked our rooms, the only things we were looking for were pets allowed and indoor pool. Well after booking 2 non refundable rooms, i called the hotel to notify them of our pet to find out that the Expedia description was inaccurate. After contacting Expedia, the description was changed on the website. No refund, no credit, nothing. After we found a local pet sitter, we checked in the hotel. The photos that are depicted on the booking site are definitely old. The pool photo was altered. The pool is about 1/3 the size depicted & was closed. When asking when it would be reopened, we were informed that the hotel had been shut down for a while and they were waiting on inspections. After going to our rooms, there were no towels at all, the refrigerator in the room smelled rancid and the air freshener was so over whelming that i had a headache the first night. I asked for towels and was told they were in the dryer & theyd be brought up. After 2 hours, i went back down to check. They still werent available. After 4 hours, i could only get 2 from the front desk. I had 4 people. The staff was not friendly. One time, there were a group of people in business dress & they were clearly trying to do their best, but the second the suits & skirts left, that was over. All in all, save yourself the headache. Book some where else through someone else. We checked out a day early and went somewhere else

The internet service was horrible. Cant connect. Request housekeeping service per their covid policy. It was not honored. Just inform us that thry were busy

I didn't like that I had to wait until 3:00 for check-in. I understand that there's some extra cleaning to do because of covid but there's not that many people in the hotel. The staff was very nice.

At check in. I had trouble with booking. Even though on app it said availability front desk man said they was no vacancy. Person got mad tossed me a key and gave me a room. It was a same day booking. Not satisfied with front desk service. Very disrespectful. He shouldnt be working there if he cant control himself

Everything was great at this hotel except for the fact I understand everything going on with CoVid 19 and everything but they need to update the site because it says you get a full breakfast and all there is a muffin, orange or coffee. Also it was a indoor pool which we were excited for that we could just reserve a time to go but the pool was completely closed.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel was clean and maintained. Breakfast area was nice and convenient. Rooms were a little small and could have used a sofa chair. Location was right along a busy highway and a little difficult to get to.

only stay 2 two hour, reason ask for a large tub just standard size

The cleaning lady’s was very nice also Charlie was very professional on her job but the only reason I was not stay there no more because that manager Evan Alexander she is very rude in she beyond Customer when they are getting breakfast think if you paying your money you don’t need nobody looking in you see what you getting like that is rude she need to talk to her employees with more respect because I think before she got that position she is she was doing the same thing they doing that was my second time in my last in this hotel
