The employee at bfast, behind the counter, was not very friendly. She didn’t smile once. We came down last Monday around 8:45.

From check in to check out all staff was great !

They had a bunch of parties and people getting rooms to have parties in that we were woken up at 2am with the party flowing over into the hallways. We had to call security, which didn’t help. Then the party guests were parking their cars where the unload/load area was that you were unable to move and a lot of people were stuck waiting (for hours). The breakfast was delicious, but the lady that was distributing it out was completely rude. The staff was not equipped to handle the partygoers cause they went unchecked the entire night and made for a horrible night for the other guests. I was completely shocked that an upscale hotel as this would have the issues they had simply cause they didn’t want to enforce security.

The hotel was nice but $15 for parking, $5 for wifi. When we arrived and got the key cards, went to our room, unlocked the door and there were people already inside the room. Had to go back down to the lobby so they could put us in a vacant room. I don't think I'll be going back.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a smell that was stale and not fresh. Overall, it was good Pool was nice. Enjoyed for a couple of hours. Breakfast was good but need to add iced tea for non coffee drinkers.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds themselves were quite firm verging on hard. Breakfast was ok, and the serving people were pleasant. A little more variety would have been nice during breakfast. On the downside, I think it is presumptuous to pre-charge for parking in a garage that is quite literally falling apart. A friend who was also a guest at the hotel had his car damaged by falling concrete pieces; if he had been present when the pieces fell he would definitely have been injured. The initial reservations were messed up with the wrong bed configuration for one of the rooms I booked. The front desk people were about to fix the issue in a reasonable amount of time.

Need a bite to eat after travel all day. Bar and restaurant were open but not much to choose from. Hotel was clean and room was comfortable.

Very clean and the staff was helpful. They have done a good job making sure that everyone is safe with their COVID precautions. We will definitely be staying with them again on our next trip through Charleston.
