Really great location, rooms were clean and service was excellent.

This perfectly situated hotel is a hidden gem. Very clean and with a friendly staff, I look forward to staying there again. Be aware that the check-in is not on the ground floor, and there is no staff to help with luggage. This situation is not unusual, but it is nice to know ahead of time. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of Notre Dame and the Seine.

I am 60 years old, went on a business trip, had no idea that I was going 'camping'. The room I had, which I was unaware of, was a loft so in order to get to the bed I had to take some very steep stairs to get to this loft. Not a good thing when you have to go to bed in the middle of the night. The décor was interesting to say the least, nothing like the pictures on the internet. Breakfast was a plate of bread. Staff was very nice for the most part. You have to climb a narrow flight of stairs to get to the reception area, not so fun after a 10 hour flight of no sleep.

Lift? and Laundry. The hotel summary and list of facilities includes a lift and self service laundry. There is no laundry. The hotel reception is on the first floor up a steep staircase with narrow treads and a bend at the top. The lift only goes up from the reception level. If you are not young and fit or have small lite bags the stairs are quite dangerous. There is no porter or help available. The only reference to the stairs is in the hotels policy statement regarding lack of wheel chair access, stating that reception is only accessible by stairs. No mention of reception being one flight up. There is a caution to call the hotel if you have difficulty with stairs, we took this to be directed to people with a disability. The lift itself is very small we needed two trips to reach our room (2 adults with 2 airline size bags) Breakfast. We came to this hotel near the end of a one month tour through Italy France and to Barcelona. Continental breakfasts at all other hotels (15 hotels) always included a selection of muesli and cereals fruits and nuts yoghurts cold meat and cheeses, breads and pastries in a buffet. At this hotel you sit and are given a plate with 2 large croissants, a piece of baguette with butter and jam, a glass of orange juice if you ask for it and coffee or tea (really bad tea). On a bar there is bowl with 2 or 3 apples and oranges and a plate with 2 kids cereal boxes (cornflakes and coco pops). For one brekky maybe not for 4 as was our stay.

Perfect backdrop for our 36 hours in Paris. Lovely morning view of the river, boats & the face of the nitre dame. A lovely saunter through the back street to saint germain, via cafes, book shops, and galleries. A 20 minute stroll to the Louvre, , the Tuileries, & back to the Latin quarter to browse books, & sit in a cafe near the hotel for our farewell late lunch. Cute room, quiet helpful front desk, pretty breakfast room & nice quality bathroom. Recommended to other travellers we met who had booked further out.

Location is perfect. by the Pont Neuf (bridge) that is closest to Notre Dame. So many restaurants all around. The RER line to the airport is 1/4 block or to the main station 1/2 block. The decorating is truly unique and quirky. Multi colored carpeted stairs,fabric wallpaper, wild wallpaper it's odd but works for the hotel's design. There is a great eating area/bar where breakfast is served (if you go on the food plan). You can use it to play cards, sip a glass of wine. The bathroom we had was updated and clean. the room size is ample for what you need. There is a safe in the rooms but NO fridge

Great place and great location.Rooms small but comfort and service remarkable.
