Extended Stay America - St. Louis - Earth City

This location was ok a little cheaper than the other ones in the area. WiFi is worst here. My phone works better with my WiFi off. For my particular room 220 my microwave would only work on the popcorn setting. Hey at least I figured out that I can still warm or heat up my food. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Wheel was missing off of bed, that I need to fix. I was clear that the wheel has been off before, because the wall was banged up where the bed would hit wall because of missing wheel. There was a weird smell in the building, possibly because work was was being performed inside building...it appeared that work was occurring in unit directly across hall from me....as there was dust/dirt trail leading from that unit into the hall and noise coming from it. I stayed one night and could not see myself staying here for any extended amount of time.

TERRIBLE..! NO NO NO 😔 After 18 hours of driving we got to this hotel and they gave us room 209, when we entered it smelled of cigarettes, I asked to change it and they gave us room 106, it smelled a little better, but I used an air freshener. When I booked I did not read the reviews unfortunately, I was very tired. There weren't enough towels, the sheets were dirty as with some fluid that I don't want to imagine what it was, hairs everywhere, I had to ask for sheets and make the bed myself, the carpets were dirty. You don't know how I wanted to wake up and leave and NEVER ❌ enter a hotel of that chain ..!

Didn’t feel safe at the hotel. The floor was very dirty and the whole hotel felt dingy

There was blood in the bathroom on the shower curtain and on the toilet. There was trash still in there from the last visit. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone

For a non-smoking hotel, the lobby and entire first floor reeked of cigarette smoke. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke, and most of the hotel also smelled like marijuana. Our room itself had stained carpets, and there was even a blood stain on the sheets, as well as lint and stuff on the sheets, under the covers. The couch was covered with white powder and was sticky, and the bathroom sink was full of dirty water when we arrived. I asked for two blankets, because the comforter and sheets were so thin, and while clean, the blankets had a cigarette burn in it and they were both very worn. We arrived very late, after 13 hours of driving, and if it had not been so late I would have asked for a different room, or switched hotels. This was definitely not what I expected from an extended stay America.

Even in the midst of Covid- 19 it was pleasant. Missed some of the amenities, breakfast, no ice. We had to ask for dishes for the kitchen, but it was a really nice stay.
