Floors so dirty i had black feet just walking in the room. The ac smelled like someone urinated in it. I bought room spray so i could sleep but it only ladted a few hours till i was woke up from the smell. I asked the manager he said it happens because the sun hitying the ac unit. He came and sprayed the ac and said dont turn on the ac just use the fan. Then woken on my last day they said i should have checked out i was to stay untill the 12th but only had me registered till the 11th. I was then told i had 15 minutes to go.

Hated it!!!!

Where should I begin; the condition of the room, the owners dog charging at me in the morning, or the surprise charge on my bill upon check out? When we looked on the website, it said animal friendly (dogs only), not a problem since we were only traveling with two small dogs. Upon booking the room through Hotels.com we were advised we would be charged $136.62 for two nights. We arrive to check in and the sign next to the checkin desk say, there is a $14 charge for pets unless you forget to tell them about your animal then it will be $40. No big deal I think as it is only $14 for any possible damages. I advise the owner of this so as to not be untruthful or pay a larger fee. We check-in and head to our room. Of course, upon check out, we are charged $56 + tax for our two small dogs. When pushed about this charge the owner says, two dogs for two nights @ $14 a night for each dog. I point to the sign and advise him it does not say this. The owner tells me we don't have to tell you everything. The room was looked like it was updated and renovated by the incompetence of the Three Stooges. The owner almost lost their dog when I stepped out of the room in the morning and it charged at me barking. I discourage anyone from staying at this hotel, one from the horrible room, the unstated charges, and the owners dog which runs free and like to charge anyone on the property.

Way better than most. Lovely beds. Coffe pit with coffee. Soft chairs.

Third time was the charm for hotels for me. The first 2 days in Temple I stayed in 2 different hotels, 1 each night, and was disappointed by both. For about $3 more a night, this Days Inn was much better, especially the amenities. The other 2 hotels did not have a pool, or as much furniture or space in the room like Days Inn has (one hotel I stayed at didn't even have a microwave or fridge). Also, the Days Inn exterior and interior is in better condition than many of the other Temple hotels.
