La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colorado Springs North

Upon arriving at the hotel when I went to check In the front desk clerk was not at the front. When I got checked in I was asked to write down my vehicle info and sign my registration paperwork. There were no clean pens available nor did the front desk associate offer me a pen. Luckily I had one in my purse. When we got into the room our tv would not turn on. After messing with the tv we later figured out it was not plugged In correctly. Something a guest should not have to figure out. When we pulled out the sofa bed there were crumbs on top of the sofa bed. The paint in the bathroom was peeling off the ceiling. The edges of the bottom of the walls where the tile met had dust and dirt on them like they hadn’t been wiped down in a while. We found someone’s Bluetooth ear piece under the desk and there was a large white cap next to the night stand. If we weren’t so exhausted from our trip I would have asked for a refund and went to a different hotel. I don’t normally complain but I worked in the hotel industry for 8 years and how this hotel is presented is very unacceptable. The rooms should be fully inspected before the maid is able to leave for the day and there definitely needs to be some renovations made.

overall quality of the the property was not where used to be we tell that it's not been taken care of properly one person that's meaning sometimes you have to wait 10 minutes for them to return from helping someone else and not really that great

Apathetic desk staff, room was clean but paint peeling off the ceiling in bath nd falling on the floor. Sights were up mandating masks as per state law but nearly half of patrons didn’t wear them. Even in the elevator. Staff said nothing. Take the stairs! Noisy in lobby at 1 am to 2 am with loud adults. Staff did nothing. Not a good experience.

Overall good customer service. Very friendly people.

Smells like smoke.. pet friendly, but didn’t like the dog barking all night in the next room... trash on the floor everywhere.

Check-in was quick & easy. The room was spacious & clean. Easy to get to the things we wanted to do.

This hotel basically catfished us. It looks like this hotel received a half-ass face lift and that’s about it. Based on pictures this hotel didn’t look too bad. However, upon entry we noticed the lack of cleanliness and how damaged things were in the room. Doors, walls, and furniture were dented and scratched. Puke and urine on bathroom wall. Stained blood on lamp shades and curtains. However, the mattress, and bedding were clean. The pool and hot tub were clean however the pool room was dirty. Also, there were some shady characters hanging around. I definitely would not recommend nor stay here again.

The person at the front desk when we arrived was a little brusque and not particularly friendly, but maybe was having a bad day. Room was fine but seems maintenance is not great: toilet seat was loose and the security lock on the inside of the room door was missing.
