Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa

Our visit this time was not so good... there were a bunch of teenage girls running around with a dance competition being loud when we arrived (we didn't complain) .. our neighbor next door knocked on our conjoining door from 8:30pm-10pm until security showed up.. he sat outside our door for 10 mins and then knocked, he said we were NOT being loud, mind you a friday night. Next morning I confronted the neighbor & asked why she knocked all night on our door.. "she said it was their teenage daughters trying to go to sleep because they had to get up early" That was NOT OUR FAULT.. I had my 5&6 year olds on their ipads, TV on, and us as a family hanging out.. there was no reason for them to complain. From 6pm-10pm girls were running around being loud. That same night (Saturday), around 10pm she sent security again to my room. Security again said we were NOT being loud. If they are going to be acting this way they should NOT be allowed to stay and hold competitions there. We spent A LOT of money to stay there and enjoy a family trip to Seaworld and they made it very uncomfortable. I called front desk the 2nd night and they said they "would look into it" nothing was done. NEXT morning we took our kids to the heated pool and to float the river and do the surf board ride, the POOL WAS COLD... pumps didn't work to get the river flowing... surfboard thing was OFF.. Defiantly NOT HAPPY... we Will Stay at the resort next door next time. Last time we were there we had NO ISSUES.

Rooms we dated and lacked normal items like a microwave. No information was given at checkin about what was available and not. Property is beautiful and river and pools were awesome. The pool is heated along with the river. River does not warm up well so was still cold with outside temperature being in 70s. Pool was much better on temperature. Spa was nice with water fall. Overall enjoyed our stay for the price we received in covid times. If priced at normal rate may not have been worth it.

It was great as usual! We're regulars for a staycation!

Beautiful ranch style resort 5 minutes away from Sea World.

I love the stay. There was a lot of stuff.

The only bummer was we were staying one night and check in time was 4pm and the pool closed at 8pm. We arrived close to 3:30 and thankfully our room was ready. They do hold your stuff should you arrive early and room is not ready. They had movie in the lawn promptly at 8 when pool closed. Kids loved the free all you can eat s’mores as well.

We visited the resort last year with a family and had a wonderful time. They offered smores, wildlife feeding, movies on the lawn and duck races for kiddos. This year, the kids were very disappointed as we had promised them we would get to do all the fun things again. I am upset that we were not informed that there would be no activities for the kids. I tried to be positive but realized that the day we checked out, they sent a special for buy two nights get one free. I think that would have been appropriate to offer us. Ill be contacting management.

Very short stay. Beautiful, well kept grounds. Wonderful breakfast in restaurant. Kids loved it.

The hotel room not very clean, furniture was scuffed up, and had maintenance issues. I had to move from one room due to unclean furniture and bathroom. In the second room, I had to call maintenance twice. Also, the restaurants that were open, did not provide a variety of food options. Many guests were ordering from delivery or going to pick up food outside of the resort. When I was in line to talk with the receptionist, another person was checking out after one night stay due to some of the issues I mentioned above.
