Wingate by Wyndham Zanesville

We were not told this property was under construction . When we did call the general Wyndham 800 number still promised a free breakfast. When we arrived the entire hotel was under construction. It was terribly dusty and the breakfast area was also tore up. The construction guys were using ALL the luggage racks to move supplies. We stayed here earlier in 2020 and it was much better

Room was clean, hotel was being remodeled so bfast was in a bag and you had to choose other locations to eat. Helpful staff throughout our stay. Cookies at night were an awesome treat. All in all, good place to reat your head out of town.

The property was still undergoing renovations. Things are not moving quickly as we hadn't been there since more than a year ago when it was starting the project.

Floors were dirty in hallway, needs updating, but in progress, next to active rr tracks, bagged breakfast was nowhere to be since no one on duty until after 8 AM. Front desk clerk was not wearing a mask. Would not stay again. Try holiday inn express just up the road. I would have cancelled but I would have forfeited my entire room cost. Nice restaurants down the street about a mile.

Check-in was wonderful and friendly, as was checkout, however, when we arrived, we found it was currently under construction and in kind of disarray. Our room smelled like smoke, the shower had not been cleaned very well and nowhere did it mention that the rooms had been sanitized. There was no discounts provided for these inconveniences that we endured, but I figured why bother telling them, as, they were going to tell us they were sorry and all I would be is upset, not worth it. When I booked my rooms it was pre Covid19, and continental breakfast was promised. The continental breakfast consiated of a brown paper bag with an apple, nuts, fig newtons and a bottle of water. Not pancakes, waffles, eggs, potatoes, juice, etc...Then we were awoken up to construction workers scraping the buildig and stuccoing right underneath our window. Curtains were ripped and blackout curtains were nonexistent. Not worth the money I paid. Not the quality one would expect from a Wyndham property. Disappointed.

When we arrived we found that the property was under construction. There was no warning ahead of time. The lobby was completely gutted. There were two small table stands just inside the door with a microwave on one and a coffee maker on the other. The hand sanitizer on the counter was cloudy and clumpy. The room itself was not what I considered dirty but it did not smell good. The toilet seat slid all over the place loosely. The coffee maker was unusable a. the tray that holds the pod for the one cup coffee filter was missing b. it would have had to be placed on the desk (it was on the tv stand) to be close enough to a plug to be used. I use the desk for my computer and did not want something that uses water and heat around that equipment. The airconditioner panel light did not function and you couldn't tell what settings it was on therefore it got very hot in the room and woke us. It took us a few tries to get the fan to run cool. There was no bath mat to place on the floor to step on when getting out of the shower. We have put this hotel on our list of NO STAYS for the future.

It was in the middle of a remodel I think. If not the cleanliness was mediocre considering we are in the middle of a pandemic.

Room was clean and updated. Pool was clean and warm. Close to shopping. We was there 4 nights and would stay again

Not clean at all i also got some kind or rash while staying there for a night

The hotel is being renovated. I didn't realize this when I booked the hotel. It served it's purpose. My bed had a long dark hair in it, and the sink looked a bit dirty. Overall, It was a decent hotel.
