Quality Inn & Suites Oceanblock

It was very comfortable and clean. I would stay repeatedly there. Good location and l felt at home.

The pool was nice with the tiki bar and food. The staff was great. The rooms can be updated and the ant problem needs attended too

It isn’t easy to keep a beach hotel from falling into disrepair. People treat them terribly. This was clean and comfortable. No real issues. The pool was milky but swimmable. The guys at the tiki bar and front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. Food at the tiki bar was fantastic, far better than expected for poolside bar food. Distance to the beach is about a block. Mini golf across the street. Overall a good stay.

The room was very clean when we arrived. Because of the covid19 virus, house keeping was unable to enter your room during your stay. You had to hang the card on your door to let them know what was needed and they left it in a bag by your door. I think that if you requested full service, such as empty the trash and disinfect the bathroom, they should have you leave the room and do the full clean but I understand

The front desk staff was very friendly but the balcony was dirty, it had a beer can, a cup full of cigarettes and a used towel. The shower also did not work.

Very nice staff and rooms are clean but showing some signs of age. Rust on the refrigerator, damage and wear in the bathroom mirror. But great value and for a low density hotel in Ocean City it’s a great choice with nice pool and bar and quite close to the beach in a nice location.

So I’ve gone back and forth on whether I should rate 4 or 5 stars. 5 stars would mean perfect and I can’t say our stay was perfect but it was nice! The woman who checked us in was great! Friendly and knowledgeable in explaining the property and amenities. The property grounds were well kept and the lobby area was clean and modern. Our room was a great size and was an efficiency. The few reasons I did not give a perfect 5...our balcony was the patio for the tiki bar, this was not an issue the days the tiki bar was closed but when it was open we had people basically sitting at our sliding door. As long as you had the door shut you couldn’t hear anything and the shade allowed for privacy but who wants a dark room when you’re in it or sitting outside and people are basically in your lap. Another issue was the ants in the efficiency area. They didn’t show up until our last night there. When we noticed them it was late and since they weren’t everywhere in the room we used Clorox wipes we brought with us and just wiped them off and left a couple wipes out on the counter which seemed to help in the short term. We left a note for the housekeeper and I’m positive they handled the situation. Overall it was a good stay, good location, and friendly staff. We would stay here again and just will be more knowledgeable for next time.

If you are looking for 5 stars, this Quality Inn is not your place. It's a typical very dated beach hotel. My boyfriend and I were booked for 2 days (Monday & Tuesday) and were thinking about staying a 3rd day (Wednesday) but decided against it. We live nearby but our community pool is closed due to Covid and we want to sit by a pool and relax before the end of summer. The pool is nice and clean but was over crowded with kids and just not our thing. Smoking is also allowed in the pool area which was another turn off for us. Overall the staff was friendly and our room was clean.

This hotel was a great stay. Only thing i didnt like is that the tub wouldn’t go down while taking a shower. Otherwise i will definitely stay here again! Great staff great pool great bar great prices 2 mins from the beach
