Comfort Suites University Las Cruces

very disappointed that pool was closed as that was why we picked this hotel

Myself and all 4 kids traveling with me were very comfortable in the room. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer yogurt with the prepackaged breakfast options

Bugs in the bathroom and in sink like little Fuzzy caterpillar with pinchers at the end on it so that kept me thinking so kept checking the beds and everywhere

The checking in process went smoothly and the young lady at the front desk was very friendly and polite. There was some caulking and cracking around the tub and in the tiles on the floor but I didn’t care. The top blanket on one of the beds was very wrinkled. That bothered me a little bit but the bed itself was very comfortable with a soft mattress pad. The sheets were perfect, super soft. The down comforter was the best!!! I loved it! There were 4 pillows on each bed; soft and firm. The bed and bedding were the highlight of the room! There was only decaf coffee in the room. When I asked the lovely lady at the front desk, she explained that they had been out for awhile and had an abundance of decaf so only those were in the room. She did point out that there was fresh coffee in the lobby all the time (except when I went down to check out the next morning). There were tea bags and a mini coffee pot as well as a microwave and mini fridge. The tv was in a weird spot and not up high enough. It was bolted down so it couldn’t be moved to a better place. The complimentary breakfast was ok: coffee, OJ, packaged danish and Otis Spunkmeyer muffins. I was there during the weekend and there was no construction happening. This is not a 5 star hotel. If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel, stay somewhere else. It was perfect for my 1 night stay where my priorities were free coffee, a soft bed with excellent bedding, and a great location. I would stay again!

The staff there was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They were very helpful to my needs and was happy to be of help at that. I do gotta point out that all the staff I came across during my stay all had awesome and positive attitudes that makes me want to make comfort suites my home away from home every time I stay and visit NM which is quite often. Thank u Comfort Suites In Las Cruces NM for giving me a place I can see as my second home.

I liked that it had an indoor pool, was small, and it was close to the university.

Although I made my reservation six weeks ago, they didn’t have the room type requested. Checkin system was not working so I had to come back later. Elevator was inoperable twice while I was there. Desk staff was good, breakfast was good. Don’t stay here. There are better places for the same money.

Hotel was under renovation, however the room I was in wasn’t vacuumed, the sink was dirty and had hair around it, the caulking around bathroom was falling apart, the floor was dirty, inside the room itself seemed old and outdated (hence renovating), bed sheets were out of place, not enough parking space.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. The hotel is awful, the rooms have a yucky smell, there were ants in our restroom. The bedspread was stain, as well as the shower curtain and window curtains. Carpet is nasty, didn’t dare to walk barefoot. We went to breakfast at 8:30 and there wasn’t much, no more eggs nor ham, and no staff to even ask for some.

Check in time should have been 2 pm. We got there at 3:10 and the room wasn't ready. They said it would be about 30 minutes however it was 4:50 before we were able to get into our room.
