Our stay at the Novotel was ok for a quick 2 night trip for a family of 4. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean except for the shower curtain, need a freshen up. Hot water and the water pressure was amazing! Only 2 towels supplied though which I thought was a bit strange. Having little kids we just shared. Due to covid19 there wasn't a buffet for breakfast as advertised, although we just picked an assortment of meals and it was all paid for with the room deal including breakfast. Parking downstairs in the basement was a great price at just $10 a night. Fridge in the room froze all of our drinks but not a big deal, and under the beds needed to be checked by house keeping as we moved the beds slightly to accomodate the kids and there was a piece of glass and and a broken pen hiding underneath.
We had a great stay. Just had issues going in and out of the underground carpark because the gate doesn’t recognise 4x4 cars. We were stuck there for 20mins the first time. 😣😣
Over priced, specially for a room and bathroom that’s not better then someone’s home Very run down and average Not worth the money paid

I was having lousy day, had just lost bag and wallet, in car accident and I was rattled. As I didn’t have a credit card or money on me, reception refused room access despite being paid for 2 nights, as I didn’t have bond options at the time. I did ask if I could get room access, I needed a shower, and then I’d get cardless cash from an ATM. I was declined. I asked for a solution and was asked to leave the line as a queue. I was not rude. Twenty minutes later I asked to speak to the manager who was nice and told the original staff member to book me in. My room was on first floor, over the pub and on corner of both streets. I needed ear plugs. I wasn’t sure if I was being judged. Later the manager bought me a tray with a pot of water and tea on it to destress. Nice gesture (but perplexing as the room did have a kettle). I provided the bond deposit the next day. My TV would not turn On/ off, or change channels. I needed noise control measures! I had to wait, and ring reception twice, over 30minutes to get it repaired. I didn’t request a change of room as I felt uncomfortable. I have never stayed here before and often stay in the CBD when in Perth. The whole stay in town was challenging and I had been looking forward to respite in a nice hotel. I was a bit disappointed. Lovely blue wildflower carpet.
Very helpful staff, nice layout, maybe rooms a little dated but clean & more than adequate. Good location & car park very handy - you pay but by Perth standards still worth it. Great to have a bath -with spring water no less- although not huge. Spa enclosed on roof top with sauna, Very Good def stay again.
Good location with access to facilities in the city area
I really liked the bar and restaurant. Car parking very reasonably priced.
