Hyatt Place Tucson – Central

The visit and stay was good. It was just to noisy in the evening. Heard people waking around and talking by the first floor window. Keep hearing the exit door slam and close when someone came or gone. Pool was closed, was looking forward to the pool. Tried to look for a vending machine or a in-store with the hotel, but I had to drive elsewhere. Other than that rooms and tv were great!

There were a lot of transients and drug addicts hanging out outside near the circle K and at the location next door. I thought it was weird that they had an armed security officer sitting in the lobby when I checked in. Good thing is we were only there for the night so we just dealt with it. I would not stay here again.

We had no issues with the property itself. It was very clean and quiet. The staff were really nice and provide great customer service. My disappointment came with the room itself. My husband and I reserved a king room but the bed was maybe a queen size definitely not king. I paid for a king which sucked but otherwise everything was great.

Thin walls, could hear neighbor’s tv late into the night. My son finally pounded on the wall and the tv went down. Sketchy people were hanging out by the side entrance smoking. They had brought out chairs and gathered together. Made it uncomfortable to walk in and out. Luckily there was a back entrance we could use.

The hotel is great, however, there were many people loitering which made us feel uncomfortable and a bit unsafe. Still letf my icechest in the back of my truck and made it overnight thanks to their security personnel. Great service. Awesome crew

Stay clear of this facility. In typical fashion, this Hyatt hotel is clean, relatively modern but in THE WRONG PART OF TOWN! Hotel is patrolled 24 hrs a day by armed security. Transients all around the area. Non-registers guest piggy backing through the doors and accessing the hotel. Hyatt needs to consider abandoning this property, forfeiting it to the City of Tucson as public housing and re-locate elsewhere.

This hotel rents 2 floors to homeless people there we’re homless every where , we were very disappointed when we find out no were on the web site they mention that !!! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone !

The hotel was full of homeless people that was not agreed before or during my booking. A lot of homeless people outside of the hotel as well. When trying to cancel the booking not allowed unless I stayed one night.

It was never disclosed when I booked this room that the hotel was allowing homeless people to stay in the hotel. I'm not against that but I most definitely want to know that going in. I booked this hotel for my son to stay one night on his way back to college and when he get there to check in they tell him the hotel is primarily occupied by local homeless folks. Not what I signed up for.

Hotel and service was great but due to COVID the breakfast was just a muffin and some fruit.
