Embassy Suites Hotel Birmingham

The first night was horrid. That room looked as if it had never been cleaned. Put us in another room and some of the lights didn’t work. The next day, much better room as far as cleanliness but the microwave was dirty. I was told I was getting the VIP treatment, no staff ever came to my room to check the condition of the room. At that point, I was done with complaining. I just know that I won’t come back until some serious changes are made. The rooms are dated and need remodeling. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom appeared to be clean. Of course I brought Lysol spray and wipes. It’s just disappointing that we’re in a pandemic and uncleanliness is one characteristic that places you at high risk. This hotel promises “clean stay” but my children and I did not receive that. The breakfast was fine though the server was a bit estranged. The jacuzzi s removed but my son enjoyed the indoor pool. There was scheduled time for the pool on weekends, which was great. Overall I am disappointed at the Embassy Hotel. For the price of the rooms and it’s reputation, I expected much better.

This stay was the end of my birthday week. My wife and I had a weekend getaway to complete my birthday week.

The room was not what I would expect from a Embassy Suites Hotel. The bathroom faucet constantly drip water very loudly making it difficult to sleep. When we got to our room the door was completely open, we went back downstairs to the service desk and was told that housekeeping forgot to inspect the room. The wallpaper was puckering so bad over the bed it looks really gross. The door on the armoire was broken off the hinge so we couldn’t hang up our clothes. The pillows felt like bricks. I was completely disappointed with this room.

The room was comfortable and clean. However, there's a problem with the tub faucet leaking.

This was the worst Embassy Suite I have ever stayed in. Will never stay at another in Birmingham, Alabama again.

I requested an accessible room and the first one that we were put in was not accessible for my wife and her wheelchair. The door to that room was open and the toilet had remnants of someone having used it without flushing. We were then moved to a new room that was obviously smoked in because the smell of smoke knocked us down the minute we opened the door. There was no toilet paper in the room I immediately had to go on the search for some. That was after I called the front desk to let them know someone had been smoking in the room they gave us. There was only one bar of soap so you either used it to wash your hands at the sink or you used it for a shower. Coffee supplies were not stocked. Batteries for one of the remotes were dead. Rooms are outdated and in severe need of refurbishment. Not quite what you would expect for a Hilton property. We also had to request a bed bag for the sleeper sofa as there was not one in the room. Just a lot of little things that added up to a disappointing stay in a Hilton property. More training may be needed for cleaning staff, especially in these times.

I have stayed at this particular hotel many times. It had been a while since I was there The bathtub faucet was broken so it dropped all night You would think with Covid 1.it would be time to clean , the elevator windows were disgusting with spit, fingerprints and food on the interior and exterior The Ruth Chris in hotel is the most disappointing Ruth’s I have ever witnessed I would not recommend this hotel

Our stay was awesome! My daughters enjoyed everything about it.

Didn’t stay . Everything looked old. The room smelled old. The cover and sheets had visible fresh stains on them. Complete turn off . We checked out as soon as we checked in

Check in was supposed to be at noon. Got to the hotel around 3 pm. My room was not ready until 7 pm that night. Claimed they didn’t have any workers available to clean the rooms. Upon checking in to my room. There were roaches in the room and it had a nasty smell to it. Very nasty and not hygienic. Not to mention I had 4 small kids with me. Take your money else where. Don’t stay here
